My Intro Tool to CICD
What do you like best about the product?
For CICD tools this has a low learning curve to get up and going. It can range from a beginner user to a more seasoned pro with versatility. It's also team scalable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It looks intimidating at first. Since it is such a scalable product a new user may see it as something they wouldn't understand, but with a little training they can get used to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have many environments to move changes through. We can develop in one environment, send to staging, and promote to production with ease. It also is handy with a team if you have several developers and one "guardian" to promote to production.

It helps to have one user map out the process of using GitLab for your company

Great code management repository
What do you like best about the product?
Gitlab has a nice look and feel. Also, gutlab security features are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to find merge tquest option on a commit if the commit is some days old.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization in code in office wide different teams and structure is solved in gitlab.

What do you dislike about the product?
Very less know and difficult to get updates ..! Sometimes difficult to manage and requires training ...!! Quality of the dashboards are not that very good and requires major upgrade ...!! It's also very troublesome to test CI locally , and the interface is really very slow and confusing to navigate...! Occasional crashes are bit common.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
System Development issues , Security arrangements and ops teams interlinking.It also provides wide repository on web based Devops.It also provides issue tracking and CI/CD pipeline features by using open source license which is very helpful..
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's the best software where everything is under the same hood.Gitlabs has free CI/CD and they integrate really well.Milestones , Codes branches everything is very easy to use from the repositories...! Go for it as it's the best know project and code management system for every sector of industries...!

It creates a loyal environment atmosphere with perks; everything you need to know is documented, the onboarding process is really great.
Gitlab is a good place for people who value being iconoclastic and hip. The product is a perfect out-of-the-box approach to almost every template corporate industry has worn out and is not afraid to experiment with new ideas when its clear the old ones do not work.
Working remotely for a unicorn status startup implementing some of the most cutting edge issues has been an extremely enriching experience. Working on GitLab is an opportunity of a lifetime

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the customizable blocks/verification etc, can become cumbersome and hard to remove.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using GitLab for a couple of months. It helps me out whenever required private repositories for a single user, and it makes a comfortable environment while working.
It is pretty easy to use with its unique tools it creates beautiful works while projecting my work and is also user friendly
Customer services helping out the team is quite impressive. They always respond so quickly and rectify the problems whenever i need them.

What do you like best about the product?
Unlimited repository branching allows development flexibility. It is also an industry standard and common among many companies and development teams. It goes well with many code language bases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minimum development tracking makes retrospective baseline and release reference difficult. It is not easy to make a freeze-frame of the code base to save for later.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Code base repositories allow us to develop continuously and create separate branches for different permutations of the software baseline. Many different versions of the same software are created.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using GitLab while I contribute to an open-source project. I have been enjoying the simple UI/UX and ease of use.
It has a ton of features that I haven't even touched, but I look forward to diving into CI/CD in GitLab.

A few things can be difficult to find at first, work item tags for example. Once you find them though it's not a big deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
General repository contributions, it's a quick and easy tool to track issues and fix them!
Best collaborative repository
What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to use, so intuitive, and you can work with your teammates reporting issues, making merge requests, and assigning tasks to each other. I really recommend using it as an enterprise.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the first time, you may be absorbed by all the functionalities and tools this application offers. I know you will understand anything, so breathe and read one by one to understand how to use it properly because it is so powerful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I worked on many projects with this application, and I made a server inventory tracker and others similar. I didn't have problems working with my teammates and collaborating to find the best solution.

The clean user interface and layout, as well as the features for version control.

Although the user interface looks nice, navigating the environment could be improved.

What do you like best about the product?
GitLab VCS provides CI/CD pipeline and it is useful for us as a developer as well as it provides a free limited plan. it also helps us to step into GitLab. beginners would help this so much.
What do you dislike about the product?
If GitLab provides a free plan but when it comes to production-level application needs pro level subscription. it seems the pro subscription price is somewhat high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most valuable one is as a developer we could host our source code and we can make Groups. We built a Devops environment using GitLab under the free plan. which was help us to make entry level applications.

One of the best alternative for Github and Bitbucket.
it has Devops suppport.

-> I like User interface which is quite intrective and eye catching
-> Having more features like categraizations which is very userful to categorize your projects with diffrent techonlogies or types.

-> Gitlab is not freely open you have some limitations in the terms of File and size of the whole project.
