Good for simple to medium complexity
What do you like best about the product?
CloverDX has good visualisation of processes, good range of operations for standard ETL work, and has the ability to use Java libraries - so basically the ability to add anything that is missing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is built on Eclipse and it's looking pretty dated. Because of this it doesn't always follow hotkey standards (for example tabbing doesn't work how you'd expect).
The colour customisation is poor. Setting it to dark mode on Mac leads to dark backgrounds AND dark text - so there's not enough contrast to read anything. We cannot find a setting to fix this.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Definitely allows for better visualisation of processes than code alone. Allows us to build standard processes which all our users can then pick up and work on as required.

Good ETL tool. Very Easy to learn and use.
What do you like best about the product?
It is designed in such a way that users can quickly learn it and create ETL processing in a short amount of time. It also provides web-based server console, which is very user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have not encountered any downsides of Clover dx or anything that is not achievable using CloverDx in the context of the ETL process. I can't think of any drawbacks of CloverDX
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use CloverDx to read flat files and perform various data validations and transformations to generate a zip file that can be directly loaded into the ERP system.
Perfect for beginner
What do you like best about the product?
CloverDX has been a helpful automation tool in my company for the past few years. It is perfect for me, a beginner in CTL/CTL2 who is always looking for ways to shorten the time-consuming process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish many companies would get to experience CloverDX, and it would also be nice to have CloverDX cheap plans/rates for personal setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For the past few years, my team has always used traditional data processing and checking, which involves a lot of Excel or Google spreadsheet files. It is time-consuming and requires several resources to verify the data quality. However, when the company began introducing CloverDX to my team, we shortened the process's hours to just a few minutes. It gave us ample time to multitask on several projects and a clear view of process improvement.
GREAT COMPANY TO WORK WITH. THE SOFTWARE MAKES DATA MANIPULATION VERY EASY.
What do you like best about the product?
THE ABILITY TO AUTOMATE PROCESSES THAT WERE ONCE VERY DILUTED AND COMPLICATED. THE TEAM MADE IT EASY TO AUTOMATE AND HELP OUT WITH ANY PROBLEM.
What do you dislike about the product?
THERE IS LITTLE TO DISLIKE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY GOOD AND EASY TO ACCESS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CURRENTLY WE ARE INTEGRATING DIFFERENT PROJECTS INTO CLOVER. THE PROGRAM HELPS US AUTOMATE COMPLICATED PROCESSES.
Clover DX is helping streamline all of our ETL
What do you like best about the product?
It is a flexible ETL tool that helps us achieve and streamline our data goals. It has also revolutionized how we can QC and Validate our data integrity. We have recently started using it to integrate API calls from outside sources to improve our automation further. It is an excellent tool with many different facets for your data needs
What do you dislike about the product?
The most prohibitive element of CloverDX is it's cost. I know that software developers and companies need to charge for products and services, and the price is often well spent. However, CloverDX does seem to be on the high side of pricing for these types of data tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CloverDX is helping us streamline and revitalize our data ingest and customer output. Its ability to efficiently work with flat files and data streams from multiple formats allows us to provide flexibility to our clients.
User Friendly tool, Easy to learn, maintenance free . Makes life easier for Conversions.
What do you like best about the product?
User Friendly tool, Easy to learn. Handles Large volume of data without any fuss
What do you dislike about the product?
Comparing data from Multiple files in a single graph ... Direct Connection to Oracle Cloud is not there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping legacy data to Oracle values and bring in FBDI formats.

CloverDX Transformation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to incorporate all the different components and create graphs easily. Also, the additional transformation ways help me to make all the changes I need in the file.
The way we can define validation rules in CloverDX is a game changer in cases we are dealing with millions of records.

What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to be able to connect to other applications like Oracle Fusion Cloud to fetch the required data (like lookups) could be a good addition to CloverDX.
Also if CloverDX is able to integrate with ERP systems to load data by submitting the necessary jobs that would reduce the manual effort.
Also if CloverDX is able to integrate with ERP systems to load data by submitting the necessary jobs that would reduce the manual effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CloverDX is helping me do validation and to perform necessary transformations and prepare files efficiently and effectively, which I believe would take more time if done manually.
Flexible tool that not only solved our operations challenge, it also provides ongoing support.
What do you like best about the product?
CloverDX is easy to use, it's flexible, and it offers many ways to utilize time-saving procedures. Reasonable costs, great ROI, and a great support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Previously we had a "lifetime" license, which changed to a subscription model. Fortunately we have a great account manager that helped us through that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have complex SQL changes in one of our production platforms, this tool helps to automate those changes and ensure changes are complete and consistent.
Modern, robust, and very flexible. Learning curve involved for complex solutions.
What do you like best about the product?
The CloverDX Designer is robust an relatively easy to use, once you grasph the paradigm of job flows.
A large collection of building blocks is provided out of the box, and custom components can be created for readers, writers, or transforms that aren't available out of the box using their proprietary "CTL" language or pure java.
Debugging capabilies are pretty powerful, especially when running a local server instance.
Learning curve is low for many simple usage patterns.

What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't accommodate a multi-developer, source code-controlled, multi-tier enterprise team very well. Every developer will need their own server license and diffing code is challenging since graphs are persisted as XML.
Advanced use cases quickly exceed the capabilities of users who are not developers or very advanced data analysts. We've found that someone who is already grounded in ETL concepts and development make the best advanced users.
Complex usage and very large volume workflows often require advanced troubleshooting capabilities and tax the system's capabilities.
Support tickets rarely get attention before the next day for U.S. users.
Missing out-of-the-box integrations with most AWS services that are not based on a common open-source project (like Aurora with Postgres or MySQL). We had to build several Gramlin readers and writers for our graph DB us cases.

Handles very complex transform scenarios.
Fairly nice features for debugging transforms
Has robust job management feature in server and cluster configurations.
Exposes transform graphs as REST services. API's make it possible to orchestrate processes on multiple tiers automatically.
Plugs a lot of whole in terms of moving data around and processing our primary data feeds.
Highly advanced users can develop re-usable "modules" that abstract some of the complexity for lower-skilled users.
Scales well with advanced techniques, like parallel processing.
