Good community, learning platform, and strong technical focus on what they aim to delivery. Roadmap is focused on industry trends and does not stray objectives which is important for us.

Would like to see more digital community events and activity. The UI is undergoing a current change which still seems in transition. Hopefully this resolves as they finish that project.

Using Boomi to integrate health care systems
What do you like best about the product?
We have used Boomi to integrate systems for the Ministry of Health in a Latin American country. This system needed to communicate with pharmacies that were not part of the ministry, and it also had to integrate with the ministry's own internal systems. Boomi allowed us to integrate all of this quickly, regardless of whether third-party companies had their systems on public clouds, private clouds, or on-premises. The speed of Boomi and its ease of use are the two features I would highlight the most.

There's really nothing I dislike about Boomi; it's a comprehensive integration platform that has everything a company might need to integrate and synchronize their data. Moreover, the new artificial intelligence tools are impressive.

it is helpful for easy to understand the integration flow. Due their designer template features it makes easy to build any integration from scratch. No need to so much hard coding while filling the parameters.

I felt they need to improve some features in internal testing tool. Because if we want to test anything without using any other application we need to fill multiple parameters to create live sessions. I think it takes so much time.

Genrate required output for the destination system. Automated the all data flow without any human intervention. Easy to integrate multiple applications in single environment.

What needs improvement?
In my experience, I haven't encountered any major issues with the tool. However, there could be a learning curve for new users, especially depending on which tool you're using. For example, I've used MuleSoft in the past, which is more code-oriented and requires knowledge of Java. Transitioning to Boomi AtomSphere Integration took me a couple of months because of differences in terminology.
One area that could be improved is the CI/CD process. Currently, we use Azure DevOps for CI/CD to deploy Boomi AtomSphere Integration changes to the preferred and productive environments. While it provides deployment scripts, maintaining a comprehensive list of components for deployment can be tedious. There needs to be an easier way to do CI/CD deployment.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the product for two and a half years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The tool is generally stable, but we sometimes face minor issues when updating it. For example, the user interface might not refresh correctly.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It seems like our current setup has scalability limitations. We've reached the maximum capacity, so we can't scale up or out anymore. This is causing some issues, especially when dealing with large files or complex processes. For example, sending data to other systems via an HTTP feed endpoint can take longer than 30 minutes. My company has four users.
How are customer service and support?
I've had positive experiences with the tech support team. They respond quickly, especially with the initial response to my inquiries. Even for multiple issues or questions, they're prompt in addressing them.
How was the initial setup?
The tool's deployment is straightforward and familiar to me. We can easily test solutions in different environments, like development, testing, and production. We utilize CI/CD for our support processes. We maintain an XML file containing the component ID, integration version, and other necessary details. Then, we run the CI/CD PowerShell script in DevOps, which automatically retrieves the component details and deploys them to the target environment.
What other advice do I have?
I rate the overall product an eight out of ten.

What do you like best about the product?
Boomi as a Integration product caters to wide variety of Integrations , be it B2B/EDI Integrations,API Integrations,SAP Integration and also is a API management solution. As Boomi is more focused on general integrations, it is being used prevalently worldwide.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't specializes in any specific Integrations. It is kind of, Jack of all trade, master of none. The terminologies and way of working in Boomi, takes some time and training before you start leveraging its integration capabilities. Difficult to start.

It helped us in migration our EDI Integration from IBM Sterling to Dell Boomi.
