We were looking for an antivirus for our S3 buckets, and after careful consideration of several options, we decided to have a go with Antivirus for Amazon S3.

The UI was quite nice, documentation was very detailed, it had all the features we needed and also was frequently updated with new ones. But what made us choose it was the amazing support we got from the team, it made the final setup really easy!

This product was a huge time saver for me. I had been using a home grown solution that used ClamAV and some Lambda functions to scan objects in S3. The solution was a pain to deploy and had object size limitations around 400MB.

I was able to deploy this solution in about 5 minutes with their CloudFormation template and love that it uses Fargate so I don't have to maintain any EC2 instances. It even has a multi-region version for redundancy. Great product!

Simple Amazon S3 antimalware scanner and dashboard

I couldn't find an enterprise class solution for some time and I finally found Antivirus for Amazon S3. I reached out to the engineering team and they were very receptive to my suggestions and responsive! I am now scanning all customer uploads and protecting all public facing buckets from malware and virus submissions. Simple, scalable deployments and I was scanning buckets in minutes. To date, I have scanned over 1 million files and scaling up and down scanning agents as required. We thought about creating a solution ourselves, but this solution exceeded our expectations!
