Great asset for project management
What do you like best about the product?
That the workload is easy to see at a glance.
Visually appealing, easy to use.
I can plan ahead, I can track my earnings, and I can access from my phone.

What do you dislike about the product?
That it doesn't have the time tracking feature with a real clock tracker.
You have to put in the time manually, so it ends up being the same as per the regular timeline.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a freelancer in the creative field, and I plan all my projects with float. I use it daily and rely on it 100%

best project planning and resource management software
What do you like best about the product?
I work in consulting and manage a team of 6 consultants. I find Float really useful to be able to manage scheduling for my team as well as forward plan based on upcoming work and team availability. I also work with a wider team and need to be across what other projects are happening and where my wider team might have upcoming availability that I might be able to use for my upcoming projects. I can use tags to be able to filter based on my preferance, i find this feature extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really think of any. It works as it should for my needs. It has an intuitive user interface and super easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float takes care of all of my project management and resource management needs. It is the one place i can go to to keep an eye on the projects that my team is working on, and to see what the next 6-8 weeks looks like for my team and assign work/projects accordingly.

What do you like best about the product?
Help me to track my work hours and workloads for the whole month, i really love that i can put specific hours in each job or project that i went in. It really helps me to track.
What do you dislike about the product?
None, because everything works on my end, and i am really thankful that my iemployer tdiscover this website and share to the employee, it make our lives more easier and efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems thats has been solve using float is inconsistent time tracking, because i put my notes schedule all over the place, with the use of float, its a one stop shop.

Float is a very easy to use project management tool that also does time tracking, reporting, and logs hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
The young woman who is there for live support video calls. Too quick and not helpful. Better to video record and post on website

Having an easy understanding of work load. Who is being overworked and what's being charged for on/off budgets.

What I like most is the customizability, easy to understand format, and user experience.

I have no complaints about the application so far.

I didn`t find any bad things, may be it would be great to add some customization for the colour schemas

Have been using float for around a month now. All looks good, pretty simple to use.

I'd add UNDO function when loging tasks. It happened I accidentaly clicked on Log and couldn't undo as I needed to do some adjustments

Everything you need and nothing you don't
What do you like best about the product?
Float mainly focuses on resource management (staff workload), project planning, time tracking, and project budgeting. It doesn't try to do everything like Asana/Scoro/Monday, so it's great for smaller orgs who just need to solve the resourcing problem and nothing else.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few minor features I'd like, but the Float team is pretty transparent with their roadmap, so I'm confident most of what's missing will be added in the coming months
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking and addressing staff workload; project planning/scheduling; project financial reporting; staff time tracking & reporting; expected vs. actual project costs. Float lets us see and act on all of this information with minimal noise or excess features.

Float is a user friendly platform and it is used to communicate tasks, shcedule, and appointments among our team.

Controling the week to week panel is not as easy.

An office essential for PMs
What do you like best about the product?
Visual format of scheduling people with the ability to adjust as necessary and the ability to generate reports based on schedules.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to customize user info such as color or even assigning an icon for new PMs onboarding. Not everyone is going to learn everybody's name right away when new so it would make sense that we can assign each member of our team with a special color or icon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Resource management with regards to assigning people tasks on any given week and having the flexibility to adjust as necessary as the week goes by. Everything is intuitively useable and easy for anybody to jump in and start using Float.
