Excellent Team & Personal Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Float is great for organising your own time and at a glance, you can see exactly what everyone on your team is doing that week. It allows you to see gaps in peoples diaries thus allowing your team to become more agile.
What do you dislike about the product?
When multiple people have many, smaller tasks in their diary, it can make the overall interface look messy and confusing at a glance. This makes it harder to read and plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float is solving the problem of people magement in the company. It can be used for all of the production and post-production diary needs and allow collaboration through this.

Great time tracking and KPI tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to find the projects and tasks to which I need to log time. I like the feature of adding a note to keep track of exactly why time was logged to a task.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "schedule" page is a little confusing and unintuitive to a new user that has never used the software before. It would be helpful to make a clear distinction that scheduled time is not the logged time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float helps track my time towards different projects within the business. It also helps monitor project budgets and provides insights about where efficiencies can be improved.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to conveniently plan hours on projects and set milestones, the ability to create sub-departments

That you need to separate the schedules in order to mix the number of hours on a specific day
Sometimes the information is not displayed immediately when you check the reports
You can improve the system with data exports, namely, convert the CSV file into an Excel file

A convenient platform, a pleasant interface that helps you easily plan hours on projects, a great schedule and the interface of the Reprot tab
The best tool to plan capacity of a graphic design team
What do you like best about the product?
Very nice and thought-through interface. Great functional. Allows tracking and managing work load and capacity of a team like my design unit. There is integration with Outlook calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a bucket view like: Backlog-inProgress-inReview-Done/Approved. Also, I think Float functions would benefit from having some project naming automation based on mask: Number_Client_ProjectName.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Float it was impossible to plan my team's time especially long-term. With Float I know who's doing what, blocked capacity for scheduled projects, current capacity when a new project comes in, milestones, deadlines etc at a glance.
Highly easy to use time tracker!
What do you like best about the product?
Calender integration with outlook is a really handy too on Float, and you can choose one to integrate with the other and not vice versa. this makes it so one wont mess up the other!
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the project analysis to see how much time a project has used up in the team can be tricky to figure out , so if you dont use it all the time then you have to try and remeber where to go to figure out these bits of information about your projects

Solves the problem of over assigning work for the team, and also cheking who has enough capacity on which days to fit in certain tasks. Profitibility of projects has somewhat increased as we are all aware of how much time we are spending on certain tasks
Float is a great way to organise resourcing & get an at a glance overview of bookings & gaps.

Colour coding of projects and easy to read dash / diary.

The delete function is so easy to get wrong and accidentally delete a booking!

Visibility of individual resource bookings which helps me when scheduling projects.
Simple planning and scheduler
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is simple to use, with no unnecessary features or bloat making it complicated or unappealing to use which so many competitors suffer from.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the shortcuts are buggy, making it hard to quickly split time or duplicate tasks.

Float gives a simple log of work scheduled per resource, with ability to allocate time and link to further information.

Float - helpful PM tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great tool to be integrated with jira - it works well for our team, it's a seamless, smooth integration that helps us estimate time & choose the right resource for any jira tasks. It is also easy to follow by the users who are marking tasks "complete", adding comments, mark bookings as tentative. All very clear and transparent.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with google calendar doesn't work that well. Some of the bookings are wrong / outdated / are not being updated / duplicated / not being displayed in a correct project or are missing. Luckily, the support team is open to help with this kind of issues. Also, the annoying feature is that the "View in jira" link doesn't work for duplicated bookings. It doesn't work for our team as more people use the same tasks on jira in different time. It's impossible to search using the jira ticket number (you have to know the ticket name). Also, ticket numbers are not displayed in the “Task” field- that causes some confusion because we work with tasks with similar names.
