With float we can have a full overview of who is when doing what where.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to schedule, move items around, and color code to make the schedule easier to read. I also like the fact that they keep improving the product - recently adding excellent depth to project management pieces.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative we ever experienced was slow performance - lag - but that's been resolved and it's now very responsive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling people on customer and internal projects, and tracking resource allocation and availability.

I like the filtering options the most - you can filter by people/projects and/or add your own filters (that can be saved and visible only for you)
Design is really simple - but clean, and that's awesome.

I really lick the lack of unnecessary additional stuff that you often get in other products.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that was annoying me so far - is the loading time that is taking way too long sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float is primarily used for scheduling the work for me and my colleagues in the company I'm currently working for.
Great tool for team planning!
What do you like best about the product?
We have a fast changing workload so the scheduling feature and ease of managing that is great. It is easuy to see what projects are in production, and who is working on everything. For our Head of Production there is an easy way to see our needs and allocate the team as needed. Individual team members can easily see what tasks or projects they are working on and who they are working with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not too many cons. It would be nice to bulk add time off and there have been some bugs that seem to be not affecting us now.

Allows us to easily resolve scheduling conflicts.

The functionality, simplicity and ease of use - just does what we need it to without being over complicated.

Not being able to copy tasks across multiple users i.e. when two people are doing the same task.

When I need to check if my colleagues have time resourced on my projects, the answers are clear with Float

What do you like best about the product?
That it is helpful for a large group or organization to see schedules of all in the group. I also liked that you can move things around fairly easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding projects and tasks initially was cumbersome. It isn't very intuitive, and requires a little learning curve to get that set up correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Still new to it, so haven't seen huge benefits or problems solved to date.

Read up and learn, read through help and tutorials

We have to keep track of the project assignments of around 50 employees in three countries. Float helps us to do this.

Intuitive and Easy for Everyone
What do you like best about the product?
It was so easy to implement and use. No more using Excel and entering in multiple cells all the time. Additionally, the people who wouldn't use Excel to see their schedule use Float! We also love that it tracks dollars and resources by project. It's giving us visibility in to our work we haven't had before. To see that you are on budget based on team hours is amazing. We also love that we can see how booked our team is at any given time. It helps us allocate resources and shift projects as needed when things get busy. The fact that so many people in our company immediately jumped on board says a lot about the software. We searched and tried a lot of different products before finding and implementing Float. We would highly recommended trying it for your team. It's really affordable and can be started up very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the program could automatically build schedules using an end date like Microsoft Project but the information is really easy to enter into Float. We do wish Float would come out with a project management software that's as easy to use as their scheduling software!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float is helping our company adjust pricing on projects. We're learning a lot about how much time is being spent on projects, something we haven't been able to easily track until now.

It's so easy to implement that trying it out is definitely worth it.
