It has been very smooth!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it gives me a daily notification on what my day looks like. This helps me manage my time accordingly. I know who has booked me for how long and I work accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could be a little prettier and attractive visually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With float, account managers are able to see the how busy their resources are and accordingly decide whether to allot more work or not. It has brought transparency.
Great Concept with Some Server issues
What do you like best about the product?
Float is visually very easy to read and allows users to be succinct but detailed at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Float tends to not register all our changes and tends to not be completely "LIVE" as it requires multiple refreshes at times to attain the most updated information. This is mainly happens when there are multiple project managers.
The export report is not as detailed as I would like it to be. It would be more beneficial to have monthly exports with breakdowns per job, per person and per week. I need to use the raw data more often than referring to the online report so it would be good to see some improvements on this.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float helps us accurately manage our project life cycles and also individual workloads to ascertain useful information about performance rates and also account health.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
At the moment, there have been a lot of server improvements but I would suggest keeping the operations small as the server can get quite laggy at times. It takes a bit of getting used but definitely serves a lot of benefits to our organization.

Float - a schedulers hammer in a forge
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing i like is the visual representation of the schedule, and the fact that you can create teams and engagements that allow everyone to know what's going on or who's free.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs a 'minimode' to minimise everything to give a holistic view of scheduling - no data functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main reason we wanted to use float is to allow schedulers the ability to visualise the schedules of employees in future engagements, as well as allow particular employees amend their schedules to communicate their availability for presales and business engagements with sales and management. This has been an integral tool for our business.

Float Review
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to see what everyone is on in a glance.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't show capacity for resource in a snapshot which I use to forecast resource requirements
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its good for having line of site what someone is on when looking at what can be moved around.
Change the way you work!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of communication and scheduling of resources - I can colour code the pipeline work and once all sign offs received confirm to the resources that they will definitely be billable! Moving staff off a roster is simple as a drag and drop. Capturing training and annual leave has never been simplier
What do you dislike about the product?
updating a resource and having to refresh the page - although am sure this is a bug from the last release
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The admin overhead of managing staff, pipeline of work across multiple clients and projects and ensuring no planned bench time
Good for PMs, can be improved for the users/resources
What do you like best about the product?
Float allows me to see what projects people are allocated on easily, or who is allocated on a project.
It's easy to visually organise time off and adding tentative projects.
It's easy to visually organise time off and adding tentative projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the resource or user themselves, there is no email notification if a project has been added, deleted, or updated, so we have to check float regularly, which I think is a bit pointless if you're not a PM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float lets me easily check who's doing what and what I'll be doing in the future.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider the size of your team and the amount of projects you use -- the more projects, people, and resources you have to manage, the more Float will be useful. Otherwise, other software might be more beneficial for you.
Managing workflows can be simple
What do you like best about the product?
