Really bad performance of the website make using Float a really pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More visibility for the entire company on the staffing.
Super simple to use, clear and colourful.
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to see what my team is working on without having to chase them down or click on individual profiles.
What do you dislike about the product?
It may already exist and I am just not using it to its full capacity but I would like to have external links in each section. Our briefs are on a separate website and it would be easier to use if my team could click and see what they are working on and link directly to that brief.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clearly seeing how much time we are working on each client by using the colour coded tool is very useful. Without having to open each 'ticket' up I can easily see how is working on what and who is in that day.
Float is a great team management programme

Being able to drag and move the projects easily. To see what all the employees are doing simultaneously.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you cant make the viewer bigger while still seeing everyone

Better scheduling and being productive

You can do so much more and it is very user friendly

You're able to see other team member schedules on one screen and schedule out for the entire year. You can also see when a team member is overloaded with assignments.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to copy tasks from person to person.

I love the ease of access to know exactly what it is I am working on each day.

They have removed the function to copy text which was useful for me to be able to located the tickets assigned to me using the code.

What do you like best about the product?
Functionality of the program is a class leader. Easy to follow and sturcture a users day with no problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
We could see an introduction of being able to use bespoke colours for each users column to seperate thst persons schedul.

Helps us traffic work through our studio with ease. The end user can then track their daily schedule with ease helping to keep in budget of the job working on

Software Solved - Great Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The best features of float are it's ease of use, it's sleek UI design which makes it easy to read and the ability to share easily among colleagues. The permissions management is also a strong area.
What do you dislike about the product?
The two features that could be improved upon are. The system needs an advanced tutorial to train users on the hidden hotkeys and tricks - I had to go externally to a blog post to find these. The system also needs the ability to select a total time and an end date and then automatically work out the daily allocation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float stops a lot of 'Bashing heads' among the project management team. It has also helped to keep developers keep track of what they need to be doing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pricing is very good for the product. I'd consider what your company needs before implementing. If you need an in-depth highly customisable piece of software float isn't that - it's an easy to use shareable platform.

Scrolling on web an iOS app is very fiddly which makes viewing anything other than the next few days very tedious.
