Float is great for my laptop, but the small screen on my SmartPhone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking where I was months ago or will I be months ahead of time.

Great project assignment planning tool - simple and intuitive to use - rich with API integrations
What do you like best about the product?
The main screen is dedicated to delivering the most important information. The filtering, sorting and view modes are natural and easy to use. We leverage external integrations with our HR systems to synchronize time off and availability, ensuring the Float information is always up to date. Both the Schedule and Project Plan view allow easy focus on possible issues and opportunities. The customization tagging combined with rich filtering really makes it accessible to all our team. Reporting is also nice with very flexible timeline options (I especially like the per month/per week/per day option in the bar chart capacity reports).
What do you dislike about the product?
Truly, it is a great platform, nothing major is an issue. Some interesting enhancements could be adding the possibility to easily simulate scenarios when planning for long-term projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float is allowing us to quickly assign and ensure all our projects are fully staffed with the required personnel at a glance. It also gives us valuable medium and long-term insight on capacity planning.
Very quick and easy to use and log your time.
What do you like best about the product?
quick and easy to use the drag-down option to extend your logged time is really helpful and time saving.
What do you dislike about the product?
an option to drag logged projects and times across sideway to different days would be great and time saving, or an option for a saved input to be selected if you repeat tasks.

quick to use saving me time to do work and more effectively manage my time

great service to use as it really easy and quick to use to track time and projects
Absolutly love Float for time management!
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to rearrange my schedule with "drag & drop" when adjustments need to be made. It's simple & effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall Float is great. The "Project Plan" screen is sometimes a little hard to read. It'd be nice if some projects could be "collapsed" or there was an abbreviated summary first!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do creative work and often have multiple overlapping projects to manage. Float helps me plan my workweek, and is so simple to make adjustments when needed (which is common with creative work). Thank you!

the way splitting tasks works, can be difficult

Easy to learn how to use. Great filters.

No built-in feature to remind the scheduler to confirm the project.

It displays the project and easy to see the projects other teammates are doing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The scheduler need to learn how to use the software, if not no use if the projects are not confirmed on time etc

1. ability to choose calendars to sync.
2. sync more than one calendar and choose the project each calendar goes into.

I like how you can personalized your experience on the site.

Sometimes it can be easy to get lost in different tabs, especially other people's schedules without knowing

I am instructed to log my hours in Float and when I log my hours in Float, I am no longer reprimanded for not logging my hours in Float

Use float to track your time
Very easy way to see what I am working on and keep track of all my projects.

Keeping track of the many different projects that I'm on. I work on multiple at a time and it helps we keep track of how much time for each day is alotted.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find it a bit hard to find certain projects in here or when I do there is a bunch of people listed that aren't actively on the project.

Helps being aware of not only what you are working on but your entire team as well so you know who to reach out to.
