Efficient way to keep track of hours and time spent on different tasks.
What do you like best about the product?
Great and efficient way to keep track of hours worked, and time spent on various tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about Float...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If working with different clients / on different projects, Float is a great tool as it makes accounting easier at the end of the month.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool, and definitely worth trying for easy time and project management.

Very intuitive and easy to use

Good design that helps me find what I'm looking for without too much hassle.

Somewhat difficult to operate with fixed price projects.

Making monthly team engagement easy to track and provide visibility for the client.
Good team project scheduling software
What do you like best about the product?
The click+drag on tasks makes maintaining schedules easy. The Schedule view allows all users of a team to see who is doing what and when in real-time, helping with collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be a way to a specific set of members to a team (and have multiple teams) and then have that "team" be assigned to specific projects rather than selecting individual participants each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When there are multiple projects on at once, it's hard for each member of a team to prioritise their tasks and see where others are at; this tended to lead to each member seeing wrong priorities and/or spending a lot of time discussing each others' schedules. Float has helped cohesion amongst staff to stay focussed to meet specific task deadlines.

A solution that simplifies resource management and time management without being cumbersome or time-consuming for people logging their time they worked.
Great idea, slightly wonky user interface
What do you like best about the product?
I really like keeping my calendar organised and knowing what my tasks are for the day/week with just a glance at the Float application. I also enjoy being able to colour-code tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it very difficult to navigate calendar views. That is trying to change visualizing just a week vs a month, etc. I always like to use a full month view to plan my month and I never seem to find where the button for that is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IT Venture is using it to schedule its employees to different clients or projects so that they are able to allocate the necessary amount of hours for each one of them.
As far as time tracking apps go, float is among the best I've used.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to navigate float and log time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a small learning curve to get used to things like switching between schedule and logging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to log how much time I spend on various projects, which in turn allows the company to track how much of my time is chargeable to our clients.

Just use it - it is great
Float is really simple to use and provides us with a overview of our employees workload

Best - The overview of the workload, we always know who is available for more work! The interface is really amazing, easy to use and easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, everything makes sense but excited to see what features they add.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Employee workload, our project managers now have a clear overview of the projects the employees are working on and how loaded they are, our performance increased greately.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Float is an amazing tool for resource management! Give it a try and you will be really happy with it!
