Easy onboarding experience, much friendlier UI than competitors I have used
What do you like best about the product?
Clean and simple user interface. Was an Accelo user in the past and constantly had issues with doing activities as simple as logging time to a project. It was incredibly confusing always to understand where things. I don't really have that issue with Float thankfully.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet, I haven't really found anything to dislike but then again I have only been using it for a couple days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped me overcome the reticence to log my hours for fear of technical complications. There have been times with Accelo where I was weeks behind logging hours due to technical difficulties.

What do you like best about the product?
Float stands out due to its intuitive and user-friendly interface, making it easy to manage projects and resources efficiently. The ease of use combined with robust features like drag-and-drop scheduling and real-time updates ensures that I can quickly adapt to changes in project timelines. Additionally, the seamless integration with other tools we use in our workflow has significantly improved our overall productivity. It's clear that Float was designed with the user in mind, providing a balance between simplicity and functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Float is a powerful tool, I occasionally find that the mobile app lacks some of the functionality present in the web version, which can be limiting when trying to make quick adjustments on the go. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have more customization options in reporting to better fit specific business needs. However, these are minor issues in an otherwise excellent product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float helps us manage our team's workload effectively by providing a clear overview of resource allocation and project timelines. This has greatly reduced the risk of overloading team members and has improved our overall project delivery times. The ability to track time spent on tasks also helps in accurately forecasting project durations and in making informed decisions about resource needs. This has led to better time management and increased productivity across the board.
It's easy to update your timely hours as well as time off hours.
What do you like best about the product?
I like Float’s intuitive scheduling and resource management features. They make it easy to track who’s doing what and optimize team workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Float can be pricey, especially for smaller teams, and some users find its interface a bit complex to navigate initially.

Float solves scheduling and resource management problems by helping teams plan and track their work. This makes it easier to see who’s busy with what, avoid overloading anyone, and keep projects on track. For me, it means better organization and less stress about managing workloads.
SImple but efficient
What do you like best about the product?
It's one of the easiest tools I found on the market (have tried many). Clean interface, good flow. Love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit limited on customization. A bit too "static"

My managers can easily allocate time for to work on a project, and they can easily track my hours and progress. It's much easier to allocate resources this way

What I like about it is its design and simplicity to use.

What I hope Float would have is copy-paste feature to just easily paste any reocurring schedules.

Float tracks my jobs and I no longer have to go through all my notes to send invoice as a freelancer.

Not Flaots fault BUT many times I have to request that I'm added to the list to add my times for jobs. Perhaps if this was linked ot he creation of New jobs to begin with we would run more smoothly?

Not having to submit my job times etc at end of weeek anymore.

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive design, Clean and streamlines UI, availability of a lot of colors, Ease of integration with our other internal Apps, quick response of tech & customer support, very supportive aftersales.
We've tried different PM tools and we keep coming back to Float due to its simplicity of use and ability to integrate.

What do you dislike about the product?
Allocations would not update in realtime across the team, causing an agency wide prompt to be sent to ask user to refresh their floats

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Float daily for the past 8 months for scheduling our design and development team. The original setup was quick and easy and myself and the team have found it easy to use from both a project management and production team perspective. Some of the features we were looking for that Float delivered on are the abilty to set custom work hours for the team, drag and drop visual layout, Google calendar integration, differrent team views and prompt customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing Float didn't offer was a native integration with our ticketing system Clickup which is unfortunate, but we haven found project creation is quite quick in Float.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving our team visibilty on the upcoming schedule and allowing the project management team to better utilise time.
