Easy to use and update
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to view my team's capacity for work and understand what projects are live / in the pipeline on demand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to adjust scheduled project hours on a day by day basis when rolled forward. That is, we have to enter daily expected hours instead of adjusting bar chart
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding the capacity for work within my team and pipeline project work
Great platform, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and how it integrates with Asana.
I also like the mobile version, but would love to have a desktop version as well :)
The customer service department is stellar and they helped me solve some issues in the past very quickly.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a while to load new projects, even after refreshing the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a lack of visibility on our resources capacity and now it's given us a lot more clarity.
A designer’s perspective on powerful features and navigational challenges
What do you like best about the product?
Float offers a lot of features and you are able to use as many or as few of them that fit your needs. As a designer, I like being able to see how my time is allocated in the neatly organized color-coded calendar. From there, it is easy to log my time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of its many features, it can be hard to navigate to find what you are looking for. I wish there was a basic home page with navigation links to then jump into what you need to access. As a designer and not a project manager, I don't always need access to or care to view what the rest of the organization is booked on. It would be nice to have a standard home screen where I can just access my projects or time sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float allows my project managers to book my time and keep my schedule full. The pre-scheduled time is easy to confirm to my timesheets so I don't have to think back and count my hours.
It's a good tool for the purpose
What do you like best about the product?
It lets me easily log time as a casual employee
What do you dislike about the product?
Slightly annoying process for logging multiple tasks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it lets me tell my boss that I worked a given day and log if there are multiple projects. I don't have strong feelings about it
Quick and efficient way to organise resources
What do you like best about the product?
Using float to create and update tasks is easy, it can also be easily implemented in the organisation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have the ability to set detailed tiered access. The allocations on Float can be easily changed and deleted by accident.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with allocating resources and schedulling staff to a variety of tasks, in real time. Staff can get up to date information about their task allocations.
Float Review
What do you like best about the product?
Flexible options for creating time allocations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The view can get really busy when looking at team schedules. It offers a lot of filtering, but the view cannot be changed to just one day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shows assigned training sessions. Also blocked time for appointments and meetings.
Best time management tool
What do you like best about the product?
How user friendly it is. It is easy to add or manage time for a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly i cannot think of something that i dislike personnaly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to organize my week. It's easy for my manger to see what time i have available or not.
Best for the team schedule
What do you like best about the product?
The transperency in the team tasks is very appealing
What do you dislike about the product?
still not an advanced version of itself, could be made better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The float is helping me to get to know the schedules of the colleagues without wasting time in contacting them repeatedly
A vital planner

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Lack of a desktop app.
2. It requires one to login too often. It might be for security reasons. But there should be an option to retain the login if one's using a personal computer.
3. Another option I would like to see is to set the heirarchy of the team in Float. So assigning tasks can be more easier and streamlined.
4. A feature to add subtasks is missing.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float has been helping us get a broad view of the team allocations and time tracking. Earlier we had a smaller team and we would do excel sheets but now that the team has grown so much, it was inevtable that we get something more user friendly. And then came in Float. It has made our life so much easier.
An all round easy to use resource management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the idea of being able to colour code tasks, assign tasks to an email and define time requirements as well as project details within a task. I also really enjoy the reporting side of things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it if Float offered the ability to change the title of some of the input box titles. For example, where it says "Project" I would like to be able to edit that to my own title.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives a good helicopter view for me and my team of the ongoing projects, up and coming projects as well as the capacity of each individual team member. Using the different colours also gives a good overview of the types of work that is going on.
