The use cases depend on the industry. Finance, Telco, Manufacturing & Consumer Goods (CPG). Most of our customers are from these industries. We have regular projects in Mexico. Some use cases are around government requests to all banking and financing institutions, as well as public companies, to present specific reports every month. We use the solution to generate the reports for our customers. The sales and finance areas have a lot of requirements for such reports to get insights and predictive analysis.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that qlik sense has so many tools that allow you to represent and save a lot of work at the managerial, tactical and operational level. The versatility and ease of use make it very popular.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the data manager is a bit limited. Users with little knowledge could take better advantage of it.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of Qlik Sense, from both an administrator and end-user perspective, is one of its most striking features. It offers all the features I need to create an easily digestible data visualization that helps find patterns and trends. The visualization tool is one of the best because it is very effective at helping us see all of our data clearly and easily, and because it has many capabilities to maintain the referential integrity of the data.

Qlik Sense has served me well and is easy to use, so I have no complaints about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of use, practicality and speed of Qlik Sense to produce reports with a wide range of charts and objects that allow us to visually represent information to our customers facilitates their understanding of our concepts. To ensure that all users are always up-to-date and informed, Qlik Sense is the best solution for combining diverse and meaningful data from a wide variety of external sources in real time. We were able to easily examine data that we did not have access to before, and doing so manually would have been extremely difficult due to the high probability of making mistakes and starting over.
An easy-to-deploy solution with a variety of use cases and excellent reporting features
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
We use Qlik Sense to manage all our sales KPIs as well as renewal plans. It's the tool where all the Go to Market plan is designed and modeled.
What is most valuable?
Reporting and Alerting are valuable features of the solution. Many companies are requesting to implement them and now want to explore and use AutoML. It is a machine learning module easy to use with enough capacity to run sales/churn models.
What needs improvement?
Adoption experience is required. There is some technical background required to do some of the reporting. Customers often request easy interaction with other tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
For how long have I used the solution?
My organization has been partners with the product for more than ten years.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Two of Qlik's main differentiators are scalability and analytics capabilities. It could solve extensive data size dB.
How are customer service and support?
I rate the support an eight or nine out of ten from the customers' perspective. The platform and the solution itself are quite stable, most of the support requirements are around getting the best usage of the solution.

How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is quite simple. The setup and integration with the customers can be done fast. The deployment method depends on the industry. It can be deployed on-premises and on the cloud. Banking customers request to have the product deployed on-premise. We have around 50% of the product on-premise and 50% on the cloud.
What about the implementation team?
The deployment takes less than a month. Most of the time, it takes one to two weeks to do the connections and create at least one dashboard in place. Then, depending on how deep the customer would need the reporting to be, it will take longer. It takes mostly two weeks for the setup, dashboards, and getting connectivity ready. We probably need one or two system engineers or IT engineers to deploy the product, no more than that. We have a lot of guys who have good experience with Qlik.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Upfront seems to be the most expensive tool. But when we talk about TCO, then the pricing rate change as this is one "all-inclusive tool" and does not need to add other services/elements to complete the setup.
What other advice do I have?
We see more requirements around machine learning and predictive analytics. The customers could optimize the value for their money and increase ROI by using and getting most of the functionality in place. Most companies initially use the product as a dashboard tool, but if you do that, you are not getting the real value of it. Overall, I rate the tool a nine out of ten.

This is a powerful tool with integrated ETL and the ability to handle huge data sets. It's capable of building intuitive and interactive dashboard designs.
What is most valuable?
The best features include ETL. Transforming data with complex logic can be done within the tool.
The Nprinting is useful. With it, we're scheduling reports directly to end-users.
What needs improvement?
I'd like to see more end-user-friendly UI designs and the ability to layer objects one by one would make a huge impact.

Efficient data compression
What do you like best about the product?
The speed of execution over large queries and it's efficient data compression. Natural analytics and data discovery. Data collaboration and connectivity is excellent

The tool has a lack of pdf static report creation as well as static report email and sharing option.

Real time data analysis is excellent. Data management is something extraordinary which helps to find out our company profit and loss sheet regionally.
Flexible tool to building custom reports

I love the flexibility and ability of the tool to connect with multiple platforms to fetch raw data and convert the same into useful insights as required.

I would say UI is the one thing, which I do not like.
