One of the best Unix based operating systems.
What do you like best about the product?
It is cheaper compare with other unix system. It is easy to manage and learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
you have to be a unix user to be able to manage any unix based OS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
for me it is easy to connect to CLI's devices from the terminal instead of having a third party software to do so.

What do you like best about the product?
It has a good user experience and unlike RHEL the GUI is stable. The terminal is also an added advantage. Scripting is easier compared to windows
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all the everyday software I use is compatible
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since it is a Linux variation, the automation of activities is smoother. I prefer bash scripts to PowerShell or CLI.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The support that windows receives should be there with Ubuntu as well for it to be universally used.

The popularity is probably the most valuable thing in this distro - you can find a solution to all major problems and even if you can't there's a huge community to help

The update checks can be totally annoying, some of the necesssary customizations are available only after installing extensions

I use it for development and it's very convenient as it supports all the major command line tools

Working on Ubuntu and other Linux OS for the last 5 years.

- It can be more user-friendly.
- Not very much stable in azure.
- Better file sharing options are required in Ubuntu.

Great Choice for Server OS
What do you like best about the product?
Free to use and learn which is the best part in ubuntu Server, Flexible and lightweight installation option , Extensive customizability ,SSH Two factor authentication and easy to navigate the interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of Third party apps remain unavailable in Ubuntu , does not able to installed on many devices and can be frustrating to troubleshoot while packages update or something technical part

some of the silly problem i was solve in ubuntu is that to check are my cable plugged in properly?,does my program require root privileges? snd do i need to install any drivers ? so for all this problem i solved from reading ubuntu documentation in ubuntu community. so i realized every problem has a solution and we need to read the article or documentation before using it

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of ubuntu according to me is that is completely Open Source and Free which makes it a suitable OS for developers. Also, the command line of Ubuntu is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The worst part of ubuntu according to me is its UI. It is less interactive and can be a bit confusing to people who are not from a technical background. Ubuntu app store has also very less apps as compared to windows or Mac.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Ubuntu is our daily development activities. Ubuntu has a great command line and it is very fast compared to Windows. It is also very secure as well. Code Compilation takes less time on machines which has ubuntu installed on them.

What do you like best about the product?
Terminal, is the best part app in Ubuntu that I liked the most. Developer friendly and also customizable. Working on Ubuntu resist me to switch on any other OS. Loving to continue work and expect some improvements in future.

Nothing as such but it would be great if some gesture would add here which make the developer work faster and simpler.

Mostly software development from the core of the products. Developers can take benefit of this OS while working on cmd.

Well supported, which makes it very easy to find a solution to any challenges you might have with managing your installation.

All the added features can slow things down a bit, but overall it's a great option.

The greatest upside of using ubuntu is its size and very lightweight to use, helping it to run even in a low-end pc or laptop.

As such there is not a big feature or function which I would dislike but one thing I would say is that using it for a very long period can make you feel bored..

I am currently using it as a dual-boot operating system in vmware. It is easy to use and anyone can adapt its environmental features very easily. I perform same normal tasks as I perform in windows.
Best Linux based OS with low system spec requirements
What do you like best about the product?
This is best Linux based OS who wants to move to Linux environment. The UI is very user friendly and has plenty of built in apps

The package manager could have been better.

I use this for software development. Since it requires minimal hardware, my development tools can utilise most of the resources which makes me very productive.
