Ubuntu is a great choice for a desktop operating system.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how intuitive the interface has become with the new Unity desktop environment. I also like the other available desktop environments, such as Mate, KDE, and Gnome. I also like how easy the application installer has become.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if I dislike anything about Ubuntu as a server or desktop operating system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In helping a friend with their HP Stream computer, we found that the minimal storage space on the device left almost no room to download updates or save very many files. I believe the laptop had a 32G hard drive, and Windows was taking the majority of it. After installing a minimal Ubuntu desktop installation on the machine, all of the functionality worked, and there was around 20G of free space.
Most Secured Linux Operating System
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is extraordinary on the grounds that it allows you to tweak to what you need for your PC. Ubuntu makes the learning system pretty simple, and it's an extremely instinctive working framework. I like how they further develop Ubuntu, at regular intervals with new deliveries. LTS adaptations are a great thought for stable conditions and purposes. A portion of the applications is as of now preinstalled in this framework which fulfills the essential requirements like browsing. This choice is an extremely conservative choice in the working frameworks. It's actually lightweight, so we can reuse old equipment. You have the opportunity to make something you need. With Windows or Mac OS, you can't redo the working framework to how you need it to be.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have much to dislike it but switching from Windows to Ubuntu is a little bit difficult for beginners. Finding support for application similarity and other stuff is troublesome. A few virtual products are not viable with ubuntu and we don't get the required drivers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
t's simple to distinguish a number of cycle rattle off and count and furthermore oversee server arrangement and server load through the appropriation through the heap balancer. It's simple to utilize like windows however it's quicker and stable than it and it's quick on startup and closure the GUI and the Desktop appearance and it's simple to utilize like windows.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Since its Command line tool is the most powerful, so I will highly recommend it for the software development-related folks to use.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Ubuntu for development with dockers
Secured OS with good UI
What do you like best about the product?
Executing Linux commands in the Ubuntu terminal makes me feel like a hacker. The scope for this OS would be only developers/engineers. Other naive users won't be able to do basic tasks on ubuntu as they will be new to the terminal.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not able to install chrome on ubuntu.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are moving from Windows to ubuntu and when you will start using it , it will be boring. But after some time you will be habitual of that.
Latest Ubuntu releases 21.04 hirsuite, ZFS out of the box, huge win for migrating FreeBSD to Linux.
What do you like best about the product?
It is free, unlike RHEL, and doesn't require using a clone like CentOS. I've always preferred the deb packaging system over rpm. Ubuntu releases stick much closer to the cutting edge releases of major pieces of software, e.g. apache, node, nginx, bind, postfix, clang, etc, etc. It is less conservative than RHEL in this respect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canonical hacks own code sometimes, company is smaller, less FOSS-dedicated - at least this is perception. Things like amazon ads on ubuntus menu, age of snap (e.g. vs flatpak). Mostly not much to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Linux w/ ZFS out of box, packaging very up to date, commercial but less so than RHEL, supports docker, snaps, and deb/apt pkg system (in addition to language specific things like npm, pip/pyenv, yarn, ruby gems, etc etc). Security conscious.

Best linux operating system
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using the Ubuntu operating system for a long time for doing all my development projects. The main reason is that it is free to download, and also lots of free apps are available. It's incredibly stable, suffers from no annoying pauses or unexpected crashes, and has a clean, attractive interface. It never strains or never more annoys. If your machine has even fewer resources, then lightweight versions of Ubuntu Linux distributions are available for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ubuntu has not got a user-friendly interface. The LibreOffice in-built software is not as good as Ms office. This lacks in solving or debugging minor problems as one needs to install a few extra packages, and it requires some effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the try ubuntu feature, as it can run without installing i:e for testing. We can run it from a DVD or a Pen Drive, and hence it acts as a portable OS to be used on systems for which we are not sure about the security status. Its performance is also better than other operating systems, and it is free.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend this operating system for working in the best development environment with great support.
