Best Open Source Application
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Ubuntu for quite some time now, and there are a few things that I absolutely love about it. First and foremost, it's the user-friendliness that stands out. Ubuntu's interface is clean and intuitive, making it a breeze for someone like me who isn't a tech wizard. I appreciate the simple navigation and the availability of a wide range of software through the Software Center. It's like a one-stop shop for all my needs, from productivity tools to entertainment apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The occasional driver issues also get on my nerves. Hardware support for Ubuntu can be hit or miss, especially when it comes to peripherals like printers or graphics cards. It sometimes takes a bit of extra effort to get everything working smoothly, and that's not something I always have the time or patience for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an IT professional, Ubuntu has been a game-changer for our organization. One of the key issues it solves is the complexity of managing different operating systems. With Ubuntu, we can standardize our systems across the board, making it easier to maintain and support our IT infrastructure. additionally, the security features in Ubuntu provide us with peace of mind, knowing that our systems are well-protected against potential threats.

What do you like best about the product?
Its ease of use, support for components, applications, and drivers natively, and with a graphical software search manager to help new users. Its interface almost does not present lags or freezes, widely used to set up both enterprise and cloud services. Additionally, it is compatible with services using Docker.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it includes the interface to search, a large part of the software has essential components that must be installed separately, probably via command line. It is not 100% suitable for people who are not very technical, but with a little research, you can master it in no time. The other thing is that Ubuntu 20.10 is reaching its end of life, so it is possible that it will be replaced by higher versions in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Ubuntu, help solve problems such as the need for a file server, as well as a solution for setting up Docker services, which can be used with various systems, including Bitcoin collection systems as an example, among others.

Ubuntu is one of the distribution of the linux. It is very popular and i believe most used linux distribution. I have used it to host the website. Also, it provides more performance compared to the windows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. For someone, it might be tuff to deal with command line based OS compared to GUI based OS like windows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me with the easy web hosting. Also, it provides better performance stats compared to windows. Also, command line tool is very easy for me to handle all the things.

Its free to download and very current. The features are in competition with other vendors so a good up todate distro.

The GUI can sometimes be a bit slow to work around.
