What do you dislike about the product?
updates sometimes bring small compatibility issues, especially after upgrading to a new LTS version. customer support is mostly community-driven unless you pruchase canonical's enterprise support, which might be limitation for companies that want faster assistance. Review on Ubuntu: Flexible, Stable and a User Friendly alternative to windows
What do you like best about the product?
There are many things which i like Ubuntu. The first one is Community, if anytime i run into a problem or wanted to customize something so there are many guides and tutorial to find the solution. Ubuntu has great flexibility, doesn't matter if i am browsing web, doing some coding and development and writing documents, Ubuntu is helping in handling all these very smoothly. It has a great user interface which is clean and straight forward and it just feels reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall Ubuntu has great features and performing well but there are few things as well in it which i dislike about it. The default interface of it is clean but sometime it can feel bit plain if you like more customization without extra setup.

Ubuntu: Great Value, Some Quirks
What do you like best about the product?
the best part about Ubuntu, for me, is the APT package management. It's a real game-changer, boss. Seriously, it makes managing all the software and updates so simple, especially with all the dependencies. You don't have to break your head trying to figure out what goes where.
Plus, the whole system just feels clean and fast. The GNOME desktop is very neat

What do you dislike about the product?
My main issue with Ubuntu is the push for Snap packages. They can be slow to start and sometimes cause weird permission problems. The PPA system can also get messy and cause conflicts if you're not careful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu solves the problem of high complexity.
It provides KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) built directly into the OS. This means we don't need to buy separate, expensive hypervisor software. It also gives you a lean, efficient platform to run virtual machines

Stable, Developer friendly OS for Data Engineering
What do you like best about the product?
As a Data engineer I have been using ubuntu over 2 years, as my primary development environment for several years. i love its stability and how well it support open source tools .Setting up environments for Python, Spark, Docker is east. The community is excellent , if i got any issue, chances are someone else has already solved it and documented it. and the package management with apt makes it easy to install or update dependencies.
What do you dislike about the product?
hardware compatibility can sometimes be tricky, especially with certain drivers like graphics, printers etc. also windows or macOS users could face difficulties at starting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu has been reliable, lightweight and well suited for data engineering workload. it reduces setup headaches, integrates seamlessly with data environments. and gives me a consistent, flexible platform for both development and deployment. it also plays nicely in production environments. most cloud servers and Docker images are based on Ubuntu, so developing locally feels very consistent with deploying pipelines on cloud infrastructure.
