As a professional user and web developer, I prefer an operating system that allows me to configure and fine-tune system settings and preferences beyond the usual end-user options. But I also need a system that provides a stable desktop environment suitable for productivity and development software. Ubuntu is a Linux distribution that combines both aspects out of the box.
One of the most stable Linux systems I ever used
What do you like best about the product?
I am a big fan of Ubuntu, Why?
1. When I was entering into the linux systems from Windows system, I found Ubuntu most user friendly Linux, It is really easy to navigate through.
2. It has really vast support of software repository.
3. People opensourced lot of customizations for Ubuntu Desktop, You can completely transform into a system according to your needs.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. It has lot vast software repository, but it still misses lot of main stream applications like Gaming apps, But I think Ubuntu is purposed for different segment of users and it fulfills the purpose completely. But I want to see Ubuntu more richer and richer in terms of app support :)
2. It's definitely one of the most easiest Linux system to start, But it still has some learning curve, and yes you need to be aware of File system, I saw people hiting random commands and loosing data, So It has it's own learning curve to be pro.
3. I faced some issues related to hardware compatibility also, Like my laptop battery used to drain faster on Ubuntu.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. I think for most of the software developers, Ubuntu is first choice, because of it's simplicity yet being powerful with shell programming.
2.Ubuntu is famous for frictionless deployment, It is powering most of the cloud applications or services.
3. Whenever I am using Docker, I use Ubuntu first, because it has very rich and stable support for applications/utilities I need for most of the applications being deployed.
