Great OS für a variety of applications - in our case for network solutions
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use compared to many other distros - installed this distro on a Windows Server 2019 cluster with SCVMM and while other distros did not recognize my storage, this worked flawlessly.
Support for a variety of softwares as well as easy and maintenance.

What do you dislike about the product?
The OS overall is very reliable and has let me down very seldom. Though for a general user, it can still become a rabbit hole to go into when an issue appears and is still not as intuitive as other mainstream OSes, like MacOS and Windows
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run a variety of network solutions on Ubuntu, such as UNMS, an intranet wiki as well as a network scanner. The OS never failed us and remote management is really easy.

Excellent OS and easy to use and open source and lot of API are available and environment is user friendly.

Not have anything to dislike and good to use this OS.

Open source and easy to build any software and very much familiar commands we use. widely using the enviromnment.

Best open source operating system
What do you like best about the product?
The thing about Ubuntu is that it is open source and free to use for everyone. It's new versions are very similar to the Windows or Mac os, and if you have used them then you'll find it very familiar to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
although it's new versions are mostly UI, but still you'll need some learning curve to use it. You'll be using the terminal once in a while to install many things which is also a very good thing but if you are not that much of a tech person then you'll find it a little hard for initial days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Ubuntu as our daily work operating system for a very long time and it solve all our corporate needs free of costs. we don't need to buy any license to install on many computers and it also comes with libre office which is also a very good alternative to Office suite.

Open Source, You dont need to pay crazy fees like windows

Organizations that don't have the budget to afford desktop operating systems can easily use ubuntu. This has almost every essential daily operational capability.

What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu server is best for user-friendly service compared to the other flavors in Linux. We can automate our tasks quickly by using scripts which is faster compared to other Linux providers
What do you dislike about the product?
Ubuntu web browser UI is not user-friendly. We can improve the UI part of web applications in ubuntu browsers. So that everyone uses the ubuntu server without the client server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us to automate our work via scripting. We can build custom scripts and custom commands based on our project requirements. This feature is easing our day-to-day work.

What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu Desktop is the most commonly used platform in majority of the professional companies but it is also good enough for personal use. The command line interface is a very useful tool for coding and running computational programs and tools. Also it's a perfect OS for software development as it is based on Linus.
What do you dislike about the product?
It might take sometime to for a beginner to understand the directory structures and the basic usage of the command line interface thus not that user friendly. Thus suggesting the need of a better structure for the directories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu Desktop is an open source operating system which provides users like programmers to build their tools. We can write shell scripts for OS level automation. It also flawlessly supports python, java, R and other software development tools.

Easy to use, also solutions available due to the product's popularity. The broad library supports many external application plugins. i seen maximum third-party application compatibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many methods to perform one task. It can be an advantage, but I sometimes feel like as dislike it, like I can manage the disk using fdisk /dev/sda or gdisk /dev/sda, I agree that they have something different, separately, as on concluded there is nothing to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Normally i used the ubuntu server for the web server and data sharing server as, like samba server, i got better stability in it and good support and tutorials available on Internet.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to Use, the feature which I like the most is that this is open source and free to use , you can purchase the ubuntu desktop pro if you want to get support . if you are developer then this is best OS for you that comes with pre-installed software which you need to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much dislike but If you want to play games, then it is very much difficult to run games on this OS. I am not saying that you cannot play games, but you will face so many difficulties in run games.

Not so good when it comes to designing.
If you are used to GUI or if you are not a developer or from tech/IT background, then Ubuntu is not so user friendly for you

The native shell helps us in exploring a lot of things. A lot of libraries and packages are available that are super useful for developers.
