For the one who needs speed with stabilty!
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Ubuntu is its file system, super easy and manageable. Under the root directory, you get containers of all storage including 'home' and 'desktop'. Also, the speed of extracting compressed folders is unmatched. On Windows, it will take you an hour just to determine the size of the react.js project folder. But with Ubuntu it is just a matter of a few seconds. So, for web and mobile developers, this OS is a boon.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there is nothing to dislike in this OS, just that if you are new to this OS, it will take some time for you to get acquainted, else it is just perfect. Unlike other OS, here you get Snap store which resembles more like Play and App Stores of Mobile OS. It is very tedious to learn how to install deb executables on Ubuntu using terminal commands.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Me being a web developer wanted to develop a website on the React.js framework. Usually, the environment setup is not ideal with my older windows OS, so I switched to Ubunto. First I tried HyperV virtualization, but after seeing the speed of Ubunto, I have completely moved my PC to Ubuntu. It is open-source software so I need not pay anything. This makes me an independent contributor as well. Now publishing my live updates and editing the bugs are far easier than my old setup.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I will just say "try once", and you will never go back to your old OS. It will solve your 99.99% of problems, and also the few those have never been known to.
