A great platform for all your database needs
What do you like best about the product?
The user experience is great. everything is 100% clear and well guided.

It was bit hard to find the SingleStore Studio link
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
great for the customers who are looking for cloud managed services that gives great user experience and amazing performance over data and are suitable for any domain (telco, banking, health etc..) including data analytics.

What do you like best about the product?
SingleStore is a really awesome and fast technology. Its fast-loading and fast data retrieval won my heart.
It supports multiple sources just like CSV, JSON, and so on.

What do you dislike about the product?
As a new user, it was a bit difficult to understand, but it became more and more logical over time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The basic problem of data loading was solved by SingleStore service. Raw Data loading takes a lot of time after which I need to transform the loaded data. SingleStore made my job easier, what I used to do in a day, now I can do it in a few minutes
Efficient and Scalable Data Solution
What do you like best about the product?
I quite like the seemless integration with AWS. In just a couple of commands, I was able to pull in data from S3 into SQL and create a pipeline. The scalable parallel ingestion and live de-dupe mechanism is quite awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess it would be pricing. I used S-16 cluster and exhausted $500 credit after finishing with 1billion rows load. But I think price vs performance compromise would exist in every solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making real-time transactional data available for analytics without any lag. Improving data ingestion pipeline for large amount of data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have a scalable business or expect your business to have lots of data in the near future, it would be a very good idea to explore SingleStore's solution. As name suggests, its a single store database providing a consolidated solution for all the data at a super-fast speed.

Recommend trying the 100B Rows tutorial on #SingleStore database... portal is very very fast, works quickly with big data

Loads a billion rows a minute!
What do you like best about the product?
Calculating analytics on ever-larger datasets has been slowing us down and making us look outside SQL Server for answers. Options on AWS require massive re-engineering efforts. This solution seems very promising with it's lightning fast table loads and query execution times
What do you dislike about the product?
Has a learning curve like any other product. Query tool is quite basic and at least on the surface lacked ability to script out tables, administration etc. Some guidance on choosing the correct cluster instance size might also help?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Calculate analytics as fast as possible... on data increasing by a TB every year...using SQL so we don't have to undertake a massive re-engineering effort. We have been looking into multiple options, this one looks promising.
SingleStore and Advantages
What do you like best about the product?
SingleStore is a high performance system that works well with high volume of data. I used the system to process 100 billion rows of data in less than 30mins. I am really impressed by it

There is no downside that I have experienced
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem I was trying to solve with SingleStore was processing a large volume of data in a very short time. I was able to achieve this in a good time
Fast and easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
Overall it was really simple to use and very fast. Obviously, it's a different use case but I tried the same tutorial in Snowflake and the data pipeline took ~2 minutes compared to just a few seconds in SingleStore.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this time to note, the company definitely seems to b e going in the right direction!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing large volumes of data migrations without sacrificing speed and quality. SingleStore avoids clunky scripts and is also very easy to test and validate data accuracy.

What do you like best about the product?
Best thing is you can choose the type of cloud provider you want to work with rather than being restricted to a specific one. Freedom to use any provider gives a lot more flexibility for application porting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just a User experience flaw Message appearing on top while the cluster was building up was confusing. Should have been more visible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly to get away from Prem systems. I would add more options to import data from. Like, maybe from the HDFS system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an easy solution to start soon.
Works great! It is incredibly speedy for data migration tasks, and incredibly user-friendly :)

The speed of the queries/ the ease of use! The SQL query editor works perfectly and has great error logs
What do you dislike about the product?
I was confused about the profiling feature, why it could not show me in real-time the resources being used ” which I’ve shared with our team to add to our Roadmap / checklist of planned upgrades

It helped me with data migration and simple data extraction in record time. I can now complete large queries much faster than before, and free up my time this way!

If you need to collect large amounts of data in a fast and efficient manner, then SingleStore does a great job!

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the layout of the tutorial. The plentiful examples helped understand the service.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like how some of the instructions were misleading. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to upload the mentioned excel file or not.

I needed a service that could handle scalability concerns and something that could be set up quickly.
