What do you like best about the product?
Vertex ITR has completely changed the way we work. The efficient process and ease to generate our returns has saved so much time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The rate application is not always the easiest to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The AI feature as a tool to aid in support and make things quicker seems like a great move forward.

What do you like best about the product?
The software is very customizable and user friendly. Not matter the situation Vertex can be customized to work with suitatution in multiple different ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support is very hard to use. Submit a case and wait then if it needs to be sent on you can wait days or weeks for a response.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to determine taxability of the same product in multiple different states and tax based on unique business situations and complexity at local and county levels.

What do you like best about the product?
I feel that the user interface is built more for a tax professional and is easy to teach and train my team on what to do and where. I like the flexibility in the tax assist and flexible fields to bring in custom data and identify different scenarios, since our data is never straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the connectors can be buggy and I spend extra time comparing the connector outputs to ensure the same results across solutions. They are working to streamline these...but it is something I set aside extra time to troubleshoot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vertex provides taxability content that we can rely on and easily set up when we add products. We also use it for sales tax calculation, VAT, and exemption certificates.

Great software for handling sales tax

What do you like best about the product?
Vertex is great at handling sales tax and keeping up with rate changes. It's very easy to use and has a lot of capability for specific industries. Technical and customer account support has been helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vertex can be complicated for a first time user and would require additional support to guide through the user guide to explain some features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vertex is solving our issues with our ERP tax mapping and helping to get those groups mapped and taxed appropriately.

What do you like best about the product?
We do have the silver support package and find the benefits to be invaluable. We love our CSAM and the support he provides on regular basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
The process for submitting support tickets. Often we know what the issue is and how to resolve it and we provide that information in the supprt case. I would love to be able to get submit a ticket it with all that information and have it be escalated right away. Forgoing lots of back and forth emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been involved in the project to upgrade the VITR product. I am very excited about the Next Generation of returns.
