What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to understand instructions and the support associates are always very helpful. It's also very easy to use.

I like best about Vertex on their versatile solution including Tax, e-Invoicing and Tax exemption certificate

Their support process and model will need to be enhanced and improved.

To simplify our sale tax and user friendly. Also to comply our e-Invoicing audit and regulation

The ability to customize the product to my organizations needs.

Specifically to Vertex for Marketplace, certain fields (ex tax area ID) is not available which our outsourced compliance provider needs to prepare returns using Vertex software.

Fast Case Resolution, But Monthly Updates Hard to Navigate

if you need to open a case it is quickly opened and worked on

Vertex solves the tax calculation for various state filings.
Fast and Accurate, But Occasionally Unreliable
What do you like best about the product?
The speed and accuracy of the tax returns are impressive, and I also appreciate how easy the process is to use.

does not always function as expected. sometimes it will not print correctly

Filing use tax and sales tax returns is more straightforward. use tax reporting for audits is helpful.
Timely Rate Updates and Easy to Use, But Room for Improvement

Ease of use. Customer success team is wonderful to work with

Enhancements are usually not delivered on time

This tool is used for calculating sales tax. I find it especially helpful during sales tax holidays and when dealing with other complex tax compliance situations.
Friendly UI and Awesome Customer Support
What do you like best about the product?
Vertex Customer Support is great to count on when you need assistance, and the UI is easy to use, intuitive, friendly

I think we can improve the filtering of rules in the UI and also improve ways of bulking editing in O Premises, I miss a way of changing end dates in once

Vertex solves all of our tax calculation, what reduces in a considerable way our effort in searching for rules to keep the company compliant

I love the reports you can get out of Vertex for Tax Return Prep

When there are issues it some times takes a long time to resolve.

They were able to solve our ND Max Tax issue, but it took about 5-6 months.
Vertex - ROBUST!
What do you like best about the product?
very robust, flexible, covers almost every conceivable situation. Always thinking ahead and planning for the futur
What do you dislike about the product?
very IT centric (non IT person here) and hard to set up rules on the fly for the non-Vertex language experienced. Difficult to Implement without expensive partners.
