What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and has lots of Options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow to get AI out for users and available to all users

It provides all our Indirect tax needs.
Invaluable information provided in a detailed format.

I appreciate the detailed information available for research and reconciling and the ability to manipulate reports to only view needed information.

As tax is a complicated subject, the program can be complicated to understand and navigate.

Vertex is solving the challenging and ever evolving world of tax compliance for my organization.
Highly Customizable Reporting, But Date Management Can Be Tricky
What do you like best about the product?
The customization of reporting and flexible fields to be able to pull all information from our ERP.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way the effective date needs to be changed for adding certificates, changing rules, etc. I always seem to forget to change the date back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data integrity and confidence in our sales and procurements.

What do you like best about the product?
The Vertex integration with SAP S4 and its Accelerator is very compatible with tax requirement globally.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vertex is integrated with SAP S4 via a middleware and it does not provide ondemand service for SIC.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vertex is automating tax calculation, updating changes in tax rates and rules, automatic the vendor tax invoicing, and also generating data for tax return filling.
Outstanding Support and Guidance, But Needs More O-Series Training
What do you like best about the product?
I like our customer support team, they are always helpful and answer our easy and tough questions. I also appreciate that they do not try to sell us more programs every time we chat, they help us with planning for the future and provide us guidance on how they can help us reach our goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more O-series trainings, I think the tool is very powerful but unfortunately I think I've only scratched the surface. I would like to learn how to more effectively use the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They make sure we are compliant with our sale taxes, and they have helped us stay out of trouble with the states. They are also helping us figure out the taxability of the products we sell, and help us with the incredible number of returns we have to file any given month.
Smooth Integrations, But Customer Support Can Be Frustrating

when things are integrated things run incredibly smooth

sometimes the customer support feels like it goes in circles
