Excellent Ingress solution
What do you like best about the product?
We are using HAProxy as ingress solution in production environment and it’s responsible for routing all the micros service based and non micro services routes to respective services. In addition HAproxy helps to build our blue-green deployment using weight based routing.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are currently in process of moving to K8s, HAProxy k8s support is limited
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily we are using HAProxy for load balancing and path bases routing and really helps to do the blue green deployment using weight based routing
Its been a nice experience, our company clover is using it from last 10 years
What do you like best about the product?
mTLS termination and haproxy fusion and teh feature it provides on security plane
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing as such, we have been using this product for last 10 years

Load balancing, routing and SSL termination

Not ready for kubernetes yet. Would love to see native ingress support

This is used with one of our monolith application cloud managed solution.
Amazing customer support
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about HAProxy is the customer support. The enterprise slack channel helps us solve configuration issues quickly. Chad is the man.

I can’t think of any negatives about using HAProxy. It’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made.

We use HAProxy for load balancing tcp and web traffic. It also helps us provide protection to the backend servers.

Haproxy is a straight-forward, easy to configure, yet powerful load balancing platform.

The documentation is good, yet somewhat limited for certain use cases.

Haproxy allows us to route traffic to different backend servers, with ssl termination at the proxy

Pretty good and reliant. Fast and steady, provides good optimizations etc

Configuration management could be better. Separate files combining into one would be nice
