Best Lowcode Development Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is it's stability and easy to use predefined components which allow developers to easy create and quickly deliver products. It's process model capabilities is super power, which can handle complex business logics.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a big drawback, just a further scope of improvement that in UI it comes with predefined set of components. Better if it could be improved to use custom components.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Appian helps to develop applications with lowcode tools which deliver software faster. It's having standard components which help to keep consistency in design for entire software.
My experience with Appian
What do you like best about the product?
My experience with Appian has been excellent; it provides us to build apps quicker in a consistent manner(UX). The best part is it offers me connectors for integration with other applications without the need for code. Based on the market needs, the way Appian keeps adding new functionalities like Data Fabric/Data Mining makes a lot of sense to me. Having integrated CI/CD (DevOps) also help us quickly manage the code deployment process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Excellent new features are added to Appian with additional license cost; this can be re-looked at. Provide a better model to customers to get to mining capabilities. Monitoring services on the SaaS Platform can be improved, helping us integrate with customer ITSM toolsets. I have asked this for JLR, which is under process by Appian.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can build, test and deploy applications for JLR quickly. The Brexit application we created using Appian has had positive feedback from JLR and end users. Brexit happened, and many manual tasks were being carried out by JLR, which were eliminated, resulting in substantial cost savings for JLR.
Streamlined Development
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature of Appian is the 'out of the box' compare and deploy pipelines. Incredibly intuitive and easy to use. It removes a lot of the stress from the deployment process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of the nature of the product there are a few limitations, particularly with regard to the interface designer. Some design choices are made for you, for example: font style, other design choices have limited options such as font size.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to build effective solutions to complex business problems.
Previously, new developments would take weeks/months before release. Now thanks to Appian, our development time has dramatically reduced, and we are able to implement solutions faster than ever.

A good product which is continually evolving
What do you like best about the product?
The speed you can developer and deploy to production. The continual evolving of the product enables new functionality at all times.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are some elelments where the functionality can be limiting and you have to tailor design to fit the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process management of long multi team processes - this has resulted in large cost savings.

Nothing big, but I'm sure in the future they will focus on arabic language

Love using the wizards in Appian and how API integration is easily available to use to integrate other systems with Appian.

The community site could be more helpful as find it difficult to use when searching for key words

Appian has helped restore business scenarios where certain roles are required to compete their tasks that were being missed out.

Many undocumented things, like even for the certification you need a lot of inside and experience from real projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like the most is the great community and the speed of innovation and introducing new features.

What do you like best about the product?
I was part of the partner solution cup presenting to the judges more like dragons den. Which was great. Mainly for me learning about process mining and other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike in particular. Some events are quite early in the morning which was difficult to attend if you were not staying in the hotel. Plus some healthy food options would be good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process automation and transformation. We leverage Appian technology accors the globe for our solutions with the clients. We have managed to reduce cost and increase process efficiency and improve controls using Appian. MVP for an automated invoice processing is in play which will come to live production shortly.

The certification is time consuming. All good other than that

Drag and drop capabilities are easy to use. Process mining ability is a great addition

There is not much that I don't like. The academy is also a great addition and the course are very easy to follow

Appian has helped solve a problem for an insurance company whereby there was a process with many handovers and contributors. Appian was used as a process orchestration tool
