Appian is the best low code King
What do you like best about the product?
Appian offers some default layout which we can use directly using drag and drop and can create attractive UI. Also Appian uses latest UI designs for app development.
What do you dislike about the product?
For data processing or large data reading data from backed, Appian is quite slow. On each interaction, server side validation adding UI slowness. For Document storage, Appian is not good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A corporate loan application, where it's easy to integrate with multiple systems using web services, a data connector application for approval and request processing along with each audit. Logging for transfers of files is another app where I used Appian.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Appian is best plateform to build application quickly with latest UI designs and powerful process model functionality. It's easy to integrate with third party applications too.
Best Low code Platform & anyone can understand easily
What do you like best about the product?
I must say its easy to learn. I am not the coding person and Appian is best for me as coding is not needed to work.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I faced any difficulty then not able go get the solution sometimes on internet because no one knows abouy appian.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am now in my Co-Op at Loblaws, and I am working with this software. I am solving the problems related to Appian RPA, and I realized I could make a bot using Appian RPA easily than other languages.

It's a platform for everyone because everyone can learn Appian in 2 weeks.

Easy to use and configure. The team finds it extremely easy to use.

It depends on the team developing but it can be a bit troublesome to create some custom solutions.

Earlier, due to manual intervention, the processes are error-prone. But with the automation, no errors. Also, the frequency of completion increased a lot.

The documentation of the product needs to simplify a bit. Also, the performance of the product can be improved.

The resources are getting freed up. Cost and time are saved. backend and frontend processes completed faster.

The platform has a disintegrated architecture which makes it easy to separate UI from the database.

It is not a self starter platform i.e. you need good number of hours work of training to even build a basic application.

Appian is very user friendly and offers a lot of different views in order to look at data very easily and quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a better ability to look at multiple data sources in a Gantt chart at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problems that have been solved and the benefits both come from scheduling and the ability to optimize the use of our personnnel. Also, the visibility provided on a global level is a huge benefit. This has allowed for huge savings in personnel costs and also savingsin reporting times that management spends every month.

Technofunctional platform which can be worked together by the business and the IT

There is nothing as such which I have come across that is unlikely not likeable yet.

Writing a complete blueprint of the required business methodology solves many problems, it leads to adherence with the business requirements and an early detection of the loop holes

Its key features include app integration, case management, and three-step application development. It enables users to automate complicated processes and build custom applications that can be easily deployed on almost any device. It offers pre-built connectors for incorporation with other apps without requiring code. Appian also offers data and analytics for document management and interactive reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
It provides limited functionality regarding customization of UX beyond out-of-the-box elements. If the uploaded documents are not saved in the knowledge center, it cannot preview them. It is somehow rigid and does not provide much report capabilities. The error messages it shows are not detailed and therefore, debugging is quite tough. It needs to improve some AI functionalities and robot process automation in terms of UI.

One major benefit is that it provides several deployment options such as on-premise, cloud, and a mixture of both. It allows organizations to build powerful apps rapidly. It is easy to use platform. Also, the integration is very easy. Apps that are developed on apian tool enable organizations to drive competitive differentiation and digital modification. It enables organizations to standardize data inputs to improve data-driven decisions. With Appian, you can easily digitalize your company. It helps users to increase the productivity and effectiveness of business. Appian is the best option to develop case management solutions.
