What do you like best about the product?
Appian is a powerful business process automation tool. Our company has builds under Appian that are used daily. It has allowed our company to implement builds in record times, usually takes 2 months to 15 days. Appian has proved its strength in data integration to external systems such as Salesforce and AWS. Lastly, Appian's process workflow is easy to use and offers a wide variety of smart services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Appian lacks elastically scalable offerings, especially for builds that have dynamic traffic from customers and internal users. Appian is also quite expensive compared to other competitors in recent times. Lastly, Appian is still quite limited in mobile-app development and deployment. Appian support is average as the issues ticketing system would be better if it can offer live support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Appian has helped us enrich customer experience by enabling straight-through processes without human intervention. It has also helped us streamline customer onboarding processes - from application to investigation. Lastly, as pioneers in the industry, the ease of development in Appian has helped us develop and deploy faster.

What do you like best about the product?
The learning curve to get into Appian is not bad at all and the system is super user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not flexible enough to allow developers customize interfaces using HTML/CSS code at all.

What do you like best about the product?
With the appian low code platform, I am able to quickly and effectively build apps for my clients that address their specific use case and business needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the Appian platform has unhelpful ways of alerting users to errors. A bit of a learning curve on how to figure things out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Appian is solving Uber specific client needs that aren't available on many out of the box platforms

Flexibility, versatility, ease of use, AI skills
What do you dislike about the product?
In practice it still takes a long time to build an app from scratch when we have to spell out every small detail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Optimizing the E2E order booking process for medical supplies orders received via e-mail.
Appian helps to automate validation steps (e.g. validating material, partner information, check if price difference is within the tolerance limits) as well automate interactions between several teams involved in the process.
