Ability to create complex code, quickly.

Record Action buttons need to be implemented better. Currently they clip into other columns and have no color options.

Implementing dynamic code that doesn't require additional development for later implementations.

What I love from Appian is that is a product in continuous development. They develop a lot new capabilities that can help out clients.

The low margin of entry for non technical users. but also the flexibility to go really in-depth and create creative coding solutions for developers

For process models, when editing expression nodes, the box isnt expandable which can hinder visibility when debugging complex epression code

Empowering our product owner/end user by creating an application that takes in large amounts of data, while incorporating complex approval processes that can span anywhere from a few minutes to days or even months

Appian is easy to use and maintain. Debugging is easy with process monitoring.

For difficult processes, work-arounds are needed.

The platform is easy to demonstrate to clients and help them understand the value of good strong flow. It allows me to sell products like Pega ServiceNow and Appian where required

The overall look and feel can be improved to be more user friendly, some small wins include mapping the user experience journey to help make button clicks and placement easier

Process mining is a specific business are we are actively looking to improve and its helped that the acquisition of Lana Labs has allowed this to happen within the platform

Simple process mining that is easy to understand and use. The integration between applications works well and it being a one-stop application.

Appian lacks a bit of maturity when it comes to the newer products
