Robust Low code Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The easy to design the workflows, the functions already present for expression rules and the UI features.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very less guidance on development of smart services or plugins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have build several workflows for clients eliminating their manual work and tons of spreadsheets. It definitely have made their life easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a tool that has a lot of capabilities and you can build your Applications in days with this tool.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Appian as a case management solution for our operational needs. It allows us to automate processes end to end and to offer a "one-stop solution", it orchestrates on top of the various internal and external systems.

Solid solution, highly recommended.

Appian’s interface and user friendly design are top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really, nothing. From the online training, to the excellent documentation, I can’t think of anything to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complex business process that until Appian, require end users to perform manually. Appian provides a very fast and simple way to create applications, and automate business processes. It’s fast, intuitive, graphically appealing and powerful.

Get the trial and put it to the test. See how fast the environment is ready and how quickly you can create an app.

Appian has wide offering of online trainings and active community. Variety of application on App market is astonishing.

Implementaiton of simple workflows with very simple integration requires still hundreds of MDs.
I do not like the marketing as "low-code" or "no-code" platform as this creates expectation within the senior management that implementaiton will require few MDs which is far from reality.

Support of back-office processes/workflows. We have mainly better control over the wokflow, proper reporting and increased efficiency

- Database Management in cloud solutions seems outdated, Id like see more options than MySQL.

Intelligent, Agile development for implementation, Low-code platform to minimize customization etc.

It has the potential to improve implementation with auto scaling features .. currently fixed hardware configuration is delivered with Appian Platform.
