What do you like best about the product?
I like how GoAnywhere MFT combines strong security with automation and ease of management. It has a centralized dashboard that makes it easy to monitor file transfers and workflows. I appreciate that it supports multiple protocols out of the box and feels reliable for handling sensitive file transfers at scale. The security features like encryption, secure protocols, and detailed audit logs give us confidence, especially since we handle sensitive data. The ease of management with a centralized interface to configure workflows, monitor transfers, and troubleshoot issues makes day-to-day operations more efficient. The initial setup was fairly straightforward, especially for the core features, aided by clear documentation and a guided setup process.
What do you dislike about the product?
While GoAnywhere MFT is very powerful, there is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, especially when setting up more complex workflows or automations. Some parts of the interface could feel more intuitive for new users, and advanced configurations may require additional documentation or support.

I use GoAnywhere MFT for file transfer and managing data exchange between cross-functional teams, particularly for handling SFTP based file transfers, automating batch jobs, and ensuring compliance in file movement. I like its workflow-based project designer, which allows me to manage complex file transfers like PGP encryption and file validation. The centralized monitoring dashboard is great, with real-time alerts and granular audit logs that give insights about the transfer status. I enjoy its ease of administration and scalability, alongside user management, reusable workflows, and seamless integration with cloud services.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the customizable dashboard could be improved. Real-time performance and SLA heat maps to quickly spot bottlenecks would be a great addition. I'd like to see more customizable transfer throughput and information about upcoming scheduled tasks.

Highly Secure File Transfers with an Intuitive Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I like it's highly secure way of transferring the files and it's very user friendly interface to design workflows

I am receiving order files from multiple vendors which need to be processed in our internal system, security of files is very important. GoAnywhere is doing a fantastic job in this process.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about MFT File transfer is that easy to use and the featured interface with good UI is the best part and also have an automation feature and a large file transfer that is too good for our organization

There is no such thing in MFT, overall, all the options are used by our team for me there is no just thing

Some important and needed problem is large file transferring in a 100 plus organization like ours some client call recoding's, demos, featured videos from internal team have a duration of more than 1hr so this is a large file this problem is solved by MFT and some automation features are good for internal activites

What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
The favorite feature is the secure managed file transfer that supports various secure protocols, including SFTP, FTPS, and SCP. We also appreciate the centralized control and monitoring via a web-based admin console. The strong security features, which include PGP encryption and support for FIPS 140-2, are valuable to us. Additionally, we value the integration with our cloud and on-premise systems.
The pre-built logic instead of scripts reduces our custom code significantly. The plug-and-play integration allows for faster deployment.
What needs improvement?
The UI can feel somewhat heavy when we perform advanced troubleshooting for complex workflows. Sometimes it requires us to dig deeper, and granular configurations are needed more than expected. Performance visibility should be improved, and easier version controls would be beneficial. This would make the product more efficient for a large ecosystem and for clients handling multiple customer environments. As a service delivery company handling many customers, we find that we need better visibility and easier controls over workflows.
For how long have I used the solution?
We have been using GoAnywhere MFT for nearly two to three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
We have experienced no stability issues. We deployed it on the public cloud and it is performing well with no sluggishness, though there may be occasional minor sluggishness which could be from the network side.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
GoAnywhere MFT is scalable from a small-scale industry to a large-scale industry or enterprise without any performance degradation or quality of features lagging.
How are customer service and support?
The response time from customer service is sometimes adequate. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the response time as a seven. For simpler issues, the response time is faster. However, when there is a complex issue, the response time sometimes exceeds the SLAs. The team has knowledgeable personnel with a good set of people.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
In my previous organization, I was using MoveIt, which also offered secure managed file transfer automation. However, I did not like the integration aspect, as it was quite complicated to integrate with our existing solutions. That was at my previous organization. In this current organization, I have only been using GoAnywhere MFT.
How was the initial setup?
Although I was not present during the deployment, I understand from my colleagues that it was easy and went very well. It took two and a half months for the team to get it fully optimized.
What about the implementation team?
Although I was not present during implementation, I understand that two or three people can handle a whole deployment.
What was our ROI?
Currently, the ROI is going well. We have not required any maintenance. Our in-house team handles this product exclusively, so there has been no need for any maintenance to date.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The pricing is on the higher side to be straightforward. However, based on the features and services the team provides, it is quite worth the investment.

We use GoAnywhere MFT on a daily basis.
We used a connector for AWS S3 and also for Google Cloud Storage.
The agents are lightweight, and the secure components can be installed on remote systems, allowing GoAnywhere MFT to perform file transfer and workflows between networks. These capabilities enable push or pull transfer to and from internal networks. The product shares detailed logging and status reporting, which is ideal for customer, partner, and DMZ environments. As an organization providing solutions for many customers, this feature is particularly helpful to us. GoAnywhere MFT simplifies deployment in customer-restricted networks and reduces the need for VPN or inbound access.
GoAnywhere MFT provides a web-based interface for users to download or upload files securely using an SFTP client. This eliminates secure email or file sharing and reduces support overhead for external users, which is the main advantage.
GoAnywhere MFT includes GoFast, a high-speed file transfer module that helps us accelerate large file transfers over long-distance networks. We appreciate that it features end-to-end encryption, optimizes large files, and secures files that have been shared. I would rate this product an overall 8 out of 10.
It's reliable file transfers for daily business operations
What do you like best about the product?
The most notable fact is that GoAnywhere MFT is helping to facilitate our business procedures when nobody notices. I also have a liking of the manner in which it interoperates with our ERP and partners to ensure that files continue moving without human intervention. Implementation is something that fits our environment and the usability is facilitating the involvement of novice members of the team. The features are also enough, and I do not have to use additional tools, making my work easier each day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is something I dislike about GoAnywhere MFT and it is outdated and more of a slow navigation. There are features that are strong and are not readily available, something that affects my productivity on hectic days. More complex workflows require more time than anticipated to implement, increasing additional time to testing. Customer support is useful when problems arise, and in the meantime, I may be interrupted in my regular use frequency.

GoAnywhere MFT is a solution to poor and manual file transfers. It stores data with ease in one system to the other without being monitored. Connection to our ERP and partner platforms is saving me hours per week. The implementation minimized the errors affecting the entire team and the fact that it is easy to use minimizes errors. It has enhanced teamwork and allows us to concentrate on the real work rather than on the lost files.

Versatile Protocol Support and Seamless Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I has a wide range of protocol supports which make it an ideal choice when you are suppose to connect with multiple external systems. We have an option to automate the repetitive file upload case.

It takes more time than expected in processing files.
