Fast Identification of Vulnerable and Non-Compliance Servers
What do you like best about the product?
Easy identification of focus asset group in terms of remediation, it also show security posture in a quick glance to its vulnerability dashboard that help security professional almost real time update of the vulnerable servers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular, just want to have a better control in terms of resource permission especially the ownership of asset group, schedule and authentication record. More flexibility in terms of ownership change from Manager level to Business Unit Manger level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Weekly vulnerability of production servers that are business critical. Quick view of security posture of critical servers and automated scanning and reporting of vulnerability on week, monthly, quarterly and yearly fashion. We realized that all can be done via VMDR.
Very Informative and Awesome Tool

I have been working in qualys since 2020 its been an awesome tool while comparing other tool in market and easily understandable
What do you dislike about the product?
Qualys support sometimes takes time to reply.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vulnerability management,Web application scanning and policy compliance scanning are very useful and industrial friendly also

As mentioned it was a very powerful and compact and very industrial friendly tool.

VMDR helps in asset prioritization, scanning all assets in scope , increasing security posture , asset classification and provides helps in unlimited scanning oprion

Data is not located in on promise location

Solving in scanning complete assets in scope and helps in identification of real security posture of the IT environment also helps in understanding the overall risks in the infra
It's very easy to use. More effective than others. Find all most of critical and high risk issues

Scan result is very good. UI is very nice and it's user friendly.

Performance should be a little bit fast.

We have solved many vulnerabilities found by Qualys VMDR tool. Reduce time to find vulnerabilities.
VMDR is already competing with other leading product in vulnerability management capabilities

most of issue is resolved by this product and covering all point related with vulnerability management scanner

Qualys already proven its name in terms of security competing Nexpose, Nessus, etc.
It helps largely to simplify security operations. Its a very good product

I have found the detection of vulnerabilities gives the best result and is very easy to use. The progressive scan is done within 24 hours which was also very helpful for me

Qualys made mistakes many times for reports generation. sometimes it gives false positives as vulnerabilities and we have to work with them and spend time to mark these as false positives.

I'm utilizing SCOM to assure that agents are always running. It makes life easier than before. very easy to run as well as after using this it decreases the work load .
