What do you like best about the product?
Bring together log and metric data into one single dashboard to cut down troubleshooting time to the minimum

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to connect to different environments e.g. amazon aws S3, Cloudfront and event get statistics from load balancers and auto scaling groups
What do you dislike about the product?
when using sumo it open's all the queries in tabs in one window and not in the browser
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has helped us centralize and query our logging aswell as creating dashboards

What do you like best about the product?
Once you get the hang of the querying syntax, the speed of searches and ability to pinpoint exactly what you're looking for is exactly what I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The querying syntax is a bit cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used Sumo Logic to help debug errors that occurred for specific requests, but my main use of it is for structured logging of some events in our application to get better insight into the function of certain parts of our application.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to look for a particular log and do different type of aggregation on the result.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a limit on the number of days you can go back. But this limitation depends on the subscription model your company is following.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems it solves -
1. General log search
2. Query the log search result to come up with different statistics like error frequency etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Using the app is easy. There's a bit of a learning curve but once you have the basics down everything works how you'd expect it to and everything is placed where'd you'd expect to find it. They also offer an amazing training a certification course to help you understand everything that you can do with Sumo Logic.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some issues parsing logs, but that's probably more on the way our logs are built than on Sumo Logic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gathering error logs after client reports something, Monitoring to stay ahead of the curb when something goes wrong.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
TAKE THE TRAINING! It helps a lot.

Efficient and easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
Running multiple queries at once, easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface changed somewhat recently and added extra clicks to get where I want to go (have to click NEW first) but it's not a huge deal. The ability to resize the results area as well as all other areas would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Troubleshooting issues for customers and checking various logs. I use Sumo Logic just about daily and it's a vital program in helping me resolve problems and issue as it allows me to run a live tail as well as digging into logs and auditing actions taken.

What do you like best about the product?
The number of systems and reports pre-configured for immediate use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some systems in the cloud it doesn't integrate with yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems solved are HIPAA compliance and Cybersecurity monitoring. Aggregating logs and scripting alerts is important to faster incident response.

Log parsing, the flexibility of the product to display log and metric data within the same dashboard
What do you dislike about the product?
restrictions on how many metrics can be in a query, needs more intelligence to auto group and label data in one dashboards

understanding when we have issues, by instantly alerting when certain log messages are recorded
