Use it for work with EXR (radiance) compositing workflows

What do you like best about the product?
It's free!! Basically we can access a high end tool at zero cost. Great rotoscoping and color correction tools.
Also the internal particle system is very powerful.
The 3D compositing environment allows for more complex animations for text and 3d objects. No need for third party software or plugins.
Support for EXR multipass compositing.
What do you dislike about the product?
No 3d tracking system.
And it still seems a bit unstable sometimes.
I don't find it very useful for motion graphics despite the promotion about it.
Also the editing interface is not very good or user friendly..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
EXR multipass compositing, 3D object compositing and workflows, color correction.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think it's the best entry point for node compositing. It's a very complex tool that allows for complex effects... all free!

What do you like best about the product?
I like the best the fact that is a node based compositor which makes very easy to track and reuse nodes. also because of that it's allow you to have multiple compositions in one file which make again easy to be consistent when you work on a set of images.
It's the best part and deserve a 10star.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it's too expensive for individuals or small companies. Off course there is a free version but it's limmited and You can't call it production ready, because isn't allow you to use plugins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Post production and final touches of the images I produce
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you work with fullfloat exr format and you understand the advantages of a nodebase system, than Fusion is the right tool for you.

What do you like best about the product?
This isn't HitFilm. This isn't Premiere Elements. This is a full-featured VFX powerhouse program. I am so impressed with the capabilities of this program. Though its interface is unfamiliar, and its integration with Resolve doesn't (yet) exist, there's a lot here (and I think a bright future). For free, you cannot do better.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface needs updating—not just in design but in workflow and user experience. It's an isolated system that's unfamiliar for the crowd I'm certain Blackmagic wants to attract. For this program to really become a big deal, too, it needs to be accessible for the average editor and it needs to integrate nearly seamlessly with Resolve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a free program capable of anything I've asked of it. Additionally, a node-based compositor can save a lot of time in certain workflows.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get acquainted with the program, give it a shot for fun, and watch some tutorials—but I'd use other programs in the meantime. I believe this program will achieve greatness one day, but I'd invest time in better, fuller featured programs if you have the budget.

If you're looking for a mograph tool, this can certainly do it, but you're better off with After Effects/C4D.
