What do you like best about the product?
Apptio products are robust and deliver exceptional value for organizations committed to optimizing their IT investments, though they require a solid data foundation and organizational buy-in to fully realize their potential. Easy to Use
What do you dislike about the product?
Support was an issue. Wasnt very Clear on solutions.

IBM Apptio is user friendly no more spreadsheet
What do you like best about the product?
No more spreadsheet the systems doesn't freeze up. I like the layout and the graphs
What do you dislike about the product?
The slowness sometimes it can be slow and doesn't save the information even though all the required fields has the necessary information
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The use of spreadsheet and amortizing the cost amoung years.
Solid Product
What do you like best about the product?
Provides great platform for connecting disperate sets of data - both operational and financial - to provide transparency around IT operations. Allows companies who perform multiple allocation methodologies to allocate IT spend back to business with great flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limitations on current model and flexibility. Lack of forward looking analysis. No AI embedded to provide additional insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides most amount of transparency around usage of IT assets and spend. Allows us the ability to perform allocations based upon usage (both direct and indirect) and provide greater visibility into the IT landscape.

What do you like best about the product?
Being part of an industry standard which is rigorously and actively supported and engaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not enlough local user chapters where the same type of willingness to share
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting stakeholders across the enterprise to truly understand IT costs. Being able to find efficiencies and being able to equitably price offerings.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of use from a developer and end user perspective, along with all the features such as editable tables and drills. The product makes it easy to combine operational data with financial data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish visually it was better, I think it's better than most products but with the new development interface it looks like that will be fixed. I also wish there was more statistical functions like standard deviation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting everyone out of tableau dashboards, giving them greater insight into specific use cases that they would not have had before, and we are also driving accountability. This benefits us because it keeps us engaged to deliver a great product and push the boundaries on what Apptio can do.

Lack of customization and time to quickly roll out to users.

CT is very customizable, need flexibility in ITP
What do you like best about the product?
Customization in CT is great and enables us to use labels and views that end users prefer.
What do you dislike about the product?
ITP is very rigid and lacks customization, as well as the ability to do simple calculated columns for unit based P*Q budgeting and forecasting.

Educating cost center owners, leadership and business owners on their spend to drive accountability.

Amazing product for any tech segment to understand cost and optimization of applications, useage, and explaining of IT spend.

Nothing - with the new upgrades announced I believe they're right on track.
