An average time tracking solution with almost too many features
What do you like best about the product?
eBillity provides a time tracking solution for my small company. The web interface is usable but I often recieve complaints from my less tech-savvy employees that it's too confusing or frustrating to use. As a manager I like being able to separate billing against multiple charge codes and task orders.
What do you dislike about the product?
The aforementioned complaints from my employees is number one in my mind. The web interface has a ridiculous number of features which ends up honestly feeling "overdesigned." I don't need to be able to hide/view every single column of a 4 column timesheet. Nor do my employees need a "new" and "classic" view mode. The time card entering screen alone has probably a dozen features that I'm sure 90% of my employees never touch. At the end of the day what am I really paying for here?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking our employee's billable time spent on external customer work orders as well as time spent by management on internal tasks.

Very easy to use and available anywhere you have internet

The easy to use Web access and no special software requrired..
What do you dislike about the product?
Not intuitive at first, but quickly become comfortable with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to link labor to projects.

Easy to use and usable in many different enviroments.

There are multiple ways to input your time, including setting a timer and typing it in manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is sometimes hard to navigate the site and find what I need, like where to submit my hours.

Tracking my time where all my colleagues can see what I'm working on, when, and for how long to help with billing clients

Time management - tells us where we are focusing/which clients are most important.
Employee accountability - We have a documented report of hours spent. Helps keep focus.
Project timeliness - We can project manage off-site.
Information valuable to future bids - We can look back in one place on similar past projects to make informed decisions on future projects.

What do you dislike about the product?
Every time I login, I receive an error message: Oops. Our system could not process your request.... etc. I wish it would take me straight to the home screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We pull our entered billable hours straight into our invoice system. We also enjoy being able to view the weekly timesheet to keep track of time spent on projects as well as personal time. This feature is very helpful for a growing business expanding into new fields. We often experience a hard time trying to determine how long a particular project will take but with Time Tracker, we can look in ONE PLACE for similar projects completed in the past. This is incredibly helpful with launching new project bids. Overall, our very favorite thing about Time Tracker by eBillity, is the amount of time it saves our business with minimal cost!

It is easy to start and stop your time clock
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is slow to search client names, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easier than systems we have used previously.

Make sure the clients are listed correctly it is picky.

I like that it automatically saves entries

I have not tried the mobile app in the last couple of years, but I remember it not being very user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I only use it for recording my work time, and it works well for that.
New Version Still Clunky
What do you like best about the product?
No longer get logged out when page is left open.
What do you dislike about the product?
The timesheets do not load properly upon first logging in (Edge). Have to return to the dashboard and refresh before the page loads correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of tracking billable hours for employees.
Great product with great customer support
What do you like best about the product?
eBillity is fairly intuitive and has great customer support when you need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally I find a more detailed pop-up answer would better help me understand what I need to do differently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The memorized report feature makes for a faster month-end and billing process. The reports can even be set to automatically generate and be emailed to whomever needs them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Though I am not a fan of QuickBooks Online, it is what the firm uses - it is helpful that eBillity integrates with QBO.

I like that the platform t's graphically easy to navigate through. I can find all icons easy.

Sometimes I get confused by the week I'm submitting my hours for.
