Easy to use, flexible and secured.
What do you like best about the product?
It is NOSQL database which is easy to use and installation. It is secured and easily manageble. It is cost effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sources regarding this are very less according to other database. Althought it is easy to use but sometimes need some support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it for saving databases of CRM project of clients. With this I am able to access database remotely. And I can manage easily. With this database we can save unstructed data without any issue.

Fast, intuitive, great documentation, ease of use, ease of ramp up, many programming languages support out of the box, fast and reliable

Vast documentation that is very hard to navigate and find the info you need, very expensive support plans
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have numerous clusters and we no longer need to maintain them ourselves.
Great for small development teams and early projects. Flexibility is great for growing startups.

MongoDB Atlas makes it easy to scale and adapt a changing data source. There are also nice features included that improve the developer experience, like data sync and their GUI tool, Compass.

Certain computationally complex querying, across data types can be much more difficult than in a relational/SQL database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data storage and syncing - their device sync has made it easy to build realtime experiences for our users across client platforms (web, iOS, Android).

What needs improvement?
They could provide more documentation and examples for adding pipeline stages. There could be a feature where commands made in MongoDB could be easily copied and shared in their original format. This functionality would enable seamless transition and compatibility between platforms like Linux and mobile devices, reducing the need for complex filters or Citrix-based solutions.

The product's initial setup phase was quite easy, but for some use cases, it was a bit difficult.
The solution is deployed on the private cloud services offered by AWS.
The solution can be deployed in a couple of hours. The product's initial deployment phase can be taken care of in an hour, and if any further deployments are required after that, it takes less than an hour.
Six to seven engineers are required to take care of the deployment and maintenance phases of the solution.
What other advice do I have?
The integration capabilities of MongoDB are fine for the solutions that we use in our company.
The tool's vendor takes care of the product's maintenance.

The learning process for initial setup is easier compared to traditional SQL. Someone without prior experience working with it can learn the process quickly.

MongoDB is an open-source product. We don't have to pay for the licenses.

I advise others to evaluate a lot of other databases. MongoDB worked fine for my project. However, I would have selected a product besides MongoDB to improve my skills and learn something new.

Build better apps faster with App Services,it provide option for adding data,create charts,create schema and create clustures etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
im working with mongoose last 2 year still i dont have any notable negative pointes about mongoDB
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
simple and efficient database that does need to creat a collection and Documents early it can creat new collections automatically and supports Nodejs, javascript, and other languages also it has no sequel language and has a lot of inbuilt queries are there in the major I am using this for MERN full stack developing application.
I am really astonished by the Flexibility of MongoDB for database managment

MongoDB Atlas relies on cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. If you face issues with the cloud provider or if there are disruptions in their services, it could affect your database availability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using MongoDB Atlas on our applications helped me solved how the data being saved in the DB. It also provides automatic scaling, that allows me to easily adjust the resources allocated to my cluster based on demand.

MongoDB stores data on cloud like AWS , Azure or Google cloud providing multi-cloud support. It stores data in JSON format so it provides faster retrieval.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont find any cons of using this product.
