Automated patch update and snapshot backups available. We can peer with AWS azure and Google cloud platforms

Installation and configuration of mongo server in vm
It is difficult to setup shard in vm machine also if any shard goes down it is difficult to recover
But atlas mongo have Managed mongo platform
