MongoDB Atlas experience
What do you like best about the product?
Managing all of our data in this way is safe. I do not doubt that adopting this platform has allowed us to safely preserve all of our files and data in the cloud while also optimising their storage and organisation. As all of its tools and panels are placed correctly, it provides simplicity of use inside its interface, allowing for a good user experience and accomplishing our goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I could only emphasise that increasing configuration granularity would allow us to cover more ground and provide more adjustability to make that area delightful for users. Even if the price may be relatively high, having packages that are easier to obtain would make it simple for any small business to use the platform's features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MongoDB Atlas allows you to quickly scale your database capacity up or down based on your needs. This means you can manage high-traffic apps without being concerned about database performance.

What do you like best about the product?
MongoDB Atlas automates various processes, including deploying and managing MongoDB clusters, so you can concentrate on creating your application rather than handling infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to standard SQL databases, MongoDB Atlas has less query power, which can be a drawback for customers that need complicated queries or transactional capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A typical database can be challenging to set up, configure, and manage since it takes time and technical knowledge. MongoDB Atlas offers automated infrastructure provisioning and maintenance, which makes managing your database more accessible.
User friendly and pocket friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about MongoDB is that it is completely could-based. The cost-effectiveness and ease to use make it the primary choice for me. Overall, it is better than other services in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
The problem that I face with MongoDB is that it doesn't support transactions. Also, the memory usage is very high and hence, it needs to be optimised accordingly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MongoDB helps me with the speed issues that I may face and the flexibility and easy setup. Makes me more productive overall. This led to an increase in business sales as I could serve more customers.
Powerful and easy to use tool
What do you like best about the product?
Great performance DB compared to other DBs, Easily scalable and can handle large chunks of data, optimised and configurable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Took some time to shift from the previous using database. But that was worth using this db, easy to store unstructured data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real quick and optimised read/write times and scalable. Need not worry about latency issues.
great UI for manual tasks
What do you like best about the product?
It saves time with its UI for most of the tasks which need to be done via commands,
its suggestions for example which index should be added or removed.
It tells about the query which got performed and lets us know which query is too long.

does not allow to download of data directly

Security, self managed cluster and saving time on small things which could end up being big.
best db for web dev from junior to production level stuff
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the automatic query functions that are inbuilt to ease the developer's part in making the app and getting the things done with least amount of code to be written
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing in specific, just some space in the free version of the database and the cost inn the paid version seems nit of the issue fro dev to prod shift of the application
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used it in the projects that I developed in college time and used it to learn mern stack web dev that later helped me land full stack dev roles for internships.
Free tier of mongodb atlas
What do you like best about the product?
Mongodb provides a free tier which is perfect for POCs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a hard limit on db size. When a POC requires more than 100 MB db size, it's difficult to recommend mongodb atlas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It takes out the cost of provisioning a db just for a POC. As a user, we have full control of the db.

Service is very fast and user friendly. particularly for startups who doesn't need the operational overhead.

it might be bit costly early on. but as it scales , should cost same as any other DB out there

I think it is very user friendly, the design is easy to navigate, and there's an incredible amount of support available if you aren't sure where to go, or how to complete a task!

Maybe some additional onboarding documents could be helpful!

It's helps in saving the data ie scalability and ease to use of the database and it's privacy policies and backups it provides and also real time experience is too good.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's cost is high so everyone can not afford it and no customisation.
