Amazing Analytics with Stellar Community Support

  • March 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find the new Qlik Ans feature amazing because it gives accurate answers using our data. When I upload data and ask it to analyze or to create some visuals, it provides valid and readable visuals. If I ask for this month's revenue or growth, it gives proper answers. I also appreciate the Qlik community, as they help solve issues as soon as possible, providing great service. The desktop version setup is very quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often encounter a session timeout error, especially since I'm using only one server with one user. There's also limited Excel export formatting, which feels restrictive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Qlik Sense for data modeling and visualization. It gives me valid and readable visuals and accurate analysis using the new Qlik Ans feature. Also, the Qlik community provides support for issues like session timeouts.

Highly Usable, Versatile, and Customizable

  • January 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Qlik Sense's usability incredibly helpful. The data export function is also very useful because it allows me to right-click any dashboard and export it as an Excel document. This feature lets me take the data and manipulate it in my own way outside of the initial visualization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are loading issues, especially when business intelligence is running updates. It can be an issue, usually on Mondays, from morning into late afternoon, when all my data is pulling in at once. I feel like at times additional resources could be allocated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Qlik Sense to compile data in new ways and simplify data visualization. It helps distribute information to non-expert users easily and allows designing varied dashboards. It's user-friendly, so the average person can use it easily.

Data visualization has become faster and flexible and now enables quick multi-source reporting

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

Qlik Sense is used primarily for dashboard creation and data visualization. Wherever there is data slicing and dicing, Qlik Sense is used for this purpose.

How has it helped my organization?

Different infrastructure products are used for applications and mobile applications. The use case involves data warehouse products that use data pipelines to connect with different databases and use a reporting tool such as Qlik Sense.

What is most valuable?

The best part of Qlik Sense is that you can upload any data and visualize it. You can create a lot of charts and graphs using the data on the fly, and you can visualize data. Qlik Sense also provides support to integrate with many data sources available in the market. The true power is in the ability to connect with any database, get the data, and work with the data.

Qlik Sense comes with a data engine to explore data freely. You can connect with any data store or upload an Excel file and visualize the data in Qlik Sense. Qlik Sense has implemented AI capabilities, although I have not explored many of those capabilities.

The main benefits Qlik Sense provides are quick turnaround time. You can connect to data sources, quickly create reports, and then quickly go online.

What needs improvement?

Qlik Sense is very easy to use, but sometimes integration is a bit challenging. In our case, we wanted to integrate the cloud version of Qlik Sense, and Qlik Sense is not supporting the on-premises version, so we moved to the cloud version. We had a lot of challenges when integrating Qlik Sense SSO with the reports that we wanted to show on our web app or mobile app. There were a lot of challenges along with that, but eventually, we overcame those challenges, and things are working fine now.

The integration part is one point for improvement; it could be more simple because I found some complexities with it. The single sign-on part is a little tricky and is not straightforward. We have done multiple rounds with their technical team, and although it got resolved later on, I think that it could have been better.

For how long have I used the solution?

We started working with Qlik Sense about four years back. I worked on that project and then moved to another project. Recently, we started with another project.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Scalability and availability are very important for any company when we talk about the scalability architecture of Qlik Sense. The reports connect with multiple datasets and databases, and once it loads on your screen, it should be quick, fast, and scalable. That is very important for us.

How are customer service and support?

I would rate technical support from Qlik as a nine on a scale from one to ten.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Qlik Sense was chosen instead of Power BI because we strategically decided a long time back to onboard Qlik Sense, around four or five years back. At that point, Power BI was also good, but it had issues connecting with multiple databases and generating reports. Qlik has the NPrinting solution, which we thought was good. Qlik Sense was providing us the on-premises version, which was cheaper. Now that they have moved to just the cloud, they are not supporting the on-premises versions, so I think they are comparable with Power BI now.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

There are products such as Power BI that are one of the main competitors of Qlik Sense.

What other advice do I have?

I do not have suggestions for additional functions they can add to Qlik Sense.

For now, we are satisfied with the functionality of Qlik Sense; whatever we required, it is pretty much there. We are pretty much satisfied with the reports that it is able to generate.

Qlik Sense was purchased directly from the vendor, but I am not involved in the purchase process.

MongoDB is one database that we use. We have PostgreSQL DB that we use for daily activity. For NoSQL, we use MongoDB, and for SQL, we use PostgreSQL DB.

We are mostly using AWS infrastructure right now, but we are exploring some of the AWS products also, and we use some products from Azure, such as Entra for our SSO.

I would give this review an overall rating of eight out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Public Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Excellent Data Integration and Intuitive Dashboard Analysis

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This platform offers a solid development environment, providing robust controls that clearly separate development spaces from published dashboards. Its data integration capabilities are impressive, with numerous connections available for a wide range of data sources and systems. I also find it effective for exploring data and analyzing trends and performance, as the dashboards are easy to drill down into and filter.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is a bit steeper, and the interface is less intuitive for standard users, which means it can take longer to develop dashboards compared to Tableau or Power BI. Additionally, there are fewer custom visuals available than what Tableau offers. The cost is also relatively high when compared to Power BI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform enables the integration of data from various sources, offering centralised dashboards and reporting capabilities that support a broad spectrum of business needs, including Financial, Commercial, and Operational functions.

Experience of working on Qliksense for 5 years

  • August 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are several features in qliksense which makes it stand out among BI tools specially while handling large dataset such as its associative model, wide variety of functions to transform data and set analysis to handle the data which is going to be displayed in UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I most dislike about Qliksense is the amount of time I had to spend to get handle on all the script function and kind of loads. It has vast number of functions which is not easy for beginners to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Qliksense allows integration of data from different data source. Also it allows features such as incremental load and binary load which help to reduce data redundancy, reload time and makes the load less memory extensive.
Qliksense script allows us transform messy data into structured, analysis ready formats.

In-depth analysis capabilities shine but wider support resources are needed

  • July 09, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

I am working in data analytics. They are the best solutions in the industry. With Qlik Sense, there is a way to integrate it within the company for sharing. It is good for certain use cases, though there are positives and cons for it as well.

What is most valuable?

I am working with QlikView mainly, and with Qlik Sense, the whole Qlik environment. It is licensed by the company I work for.

QlikView is highly manipulable, so you can build on top of the environment they already have to create your own solution for the problems you have. That is the positive for it compared to something Power BI.

What needs improvement?

Everything depends on the use case, but I would prefer Power BI because of how mainstream it is.

There is not much information available. It is not a mainstream tool that many companies use, so if you are doing something that has not been done before, you can find it challenging to get an answer. Unlike Power BI, where there are many examples of what you want to do elsewhere, with QlikView this is not the case.

The support for it could be improved. Growing the support online would be beneficial for Qlik. Having more guides on complex tasks you want to do with Qlik would help. There is support online and a Qlik community that shares solutions for common problems, but for quite niche requirements, it does not have that sort of support.

For how long have I used the solution?

It has been almost a year now.

What was my experience with deployment of the solution?

When the company I work for was installing the environment, it took them a long time to do it. The company did not have the scale to get it up and running efficiently. It took them a year or two to get everything working properly because the way we use it in the company is very specific to our professional services. It took them a while to get it working the way they wanted it.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Power BI has the edge on scalability. The Microsoft environment has the advantage because of its size. It is easily scalable with Microsoft, with other services Azure and other tools they provide.

How are customer service and support?

I have never contacted Qlik myself.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

How was the initial setup?

It is based on SQL and T-SQL mainly, so if you are experienced with those languages, you would find your way easily.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

It is not about performance. It is just about how expensive it is to implement.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

For the company I work for, I have heard that Power BI would be a cheaper environment. That is why they are moving forward by integrating Power BI.

What other advice do I have?

I think something Power BI has the edge over Qlik Sense. I am not working directly with certain aspects, so I cannot comment further on those. On a scale of 1-10, I rate this solution a 7.
