More Insightful, Customizable Alternative to GA4
What do you like best about the product?
Visual labeling, historical data is tracked from the onset, session replays, and complete customizability.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve, but they have great resources and support. Also, it can be difficult to break down metrics by different domains/environments, but again, once you learn the fundamentals, this process becomes easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complete overview and analysis of marketing website analytics, behavioral analytics, and product analytics.
Very strong tool for your product analytics needs
What do you like best about the product?
Visual labeling has been a lot of help when figuring out which UI elements are reporting and determining analytics based on them rather than trying to explore events the more traditional way.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of information and ways to synthesize it, and it can take some time to determine the best way to present and digest. Most product analytics tools are like this, so it's not a big thing that I worry about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Heap is helping me to better understand how our product is used by our customers, how we can iterate on our various features, and also allowing me to share findings easier amongst my co-workers.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps resolve having to go through our DB to pull user behavior. Allows us to make smart and calculated decisions and share that information out in an easy digestable way.
It is nice to use but a little confusing
What do you like best about the product?
The tracking analytics is great and I like how user friendly it is
What do you dislike about the product?
Not enough info per step, it is a little confusing and would like more indication on how to correct a track
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Showing me how my emails are performing
Heap is a powerful web and mobile analytics platform
What do you like best about the product?
One of the key strengths of Heap is its ability to automatically capture user interactions and events across web and mobile platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing special, maybe need to add more integrations with other analytics providers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to segment users based on a wide range of criteria, such as user behaviour, demographics, and custom properties.
Simple to use, broad scope of functionality
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to create a dashboard that's accessible for my entire team to review results of certain tools/products. Additionally, Heap makes it easy to surface quick data points as well as more in-depth analysis. It's great I can add quick descriptions so other folx can easily understand what they're looking at and the biggest takeaways.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Heap caches so much – sometimes the tool can get really slow due to this. Also, I wish I could see event data for specific events while building out dashboards. I usually need to have two tabs open -- one where I'm searching the entire repository of events, and another where I'm building my current chart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Heap is solving the problem of hosting all product analytics in a single space where all product-facing team members can easily access ad hoc. Heap's ease of use allows folx on the product team to quickly surface important data and results.
Pretty Useful tool
What do you like best about the product?
Heap provides versatile views of data that can be very insightful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a little confusing in configuring dashboards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding on site user experience and flows.
Potential if you learn the terminology
What do you like best about the product?
lots of things you can measure (number of users, path, search box usage etc) and custom dashboards allows views of all at once, but can have different widgets for each dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
unless you know what the terminology means which seem pretty vague especially in the analyze tab, creating a search can be difficult
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
which web pages are most visible throughout a site, how people get to those pages, allows for comparison across web pages and timelines
