Quick setup for analytics

What do you like best about the product?
Very quick setup. Up and running in less than a day! This was huge! Also very good support!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of. There are organization specific needs that we have but Heap is very responsive to feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidated analytics into one place. Visibility to analytics that we were not aware that Google Analytics could not easily solve!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out! There's no negative to giving it a try and see how you like it. Much better than Google Analytics!

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to pull data retroactively is my favorite feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that I could view timing data -- how long a user has been viewing a page without taking any action.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have solved problems related to digging up the number of page views and clicks on the website. Being able to understand how the customer works through the flows we have designed is most helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
The multitude of ways that I can collect insights about our product - from analyzing conversion rates to discovering drop off, Heap has changed the way that I do my job. I feel so much more informed when I make decisions than I did before using Heap.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could split data from A/B tests
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm improving my mobile experience by learning exactly where my users are dropping off on the site. Heap has exposed issues with accessibility, layout, and which products are the highest and lowest converters - as well as helped me to develop a stronger CTA strategy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for an analytics tool to complement Google Analytics and provide easy to understand reports for all verticals of e-commerce business, you could do no better than Heap. It's the most robust and easiest product I've used yet.

User interface is very simple and easy to use.

Custom events are quite expensive, think they can be priced better.

Get to know the user behaviour using dashboards and funnels

What do you like best about the product?
The auto capture and very easy UI interface to tag events
What do you dislike about the product?
Doing time based analysis are not very easy and limited.

Mostly looking at user adoption for our applications as well as their journey throughout the apps.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can track historical data once you put trackers on your website and that I can pull up simple reports
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to drilldown into reports (for example, if you want to X type of Users do X type of action, you can only see one filter at a time)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I personally use to track Blog post clicks, my whole team uses it for a variety of reasons.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would pull together a list of reports you'd like and meet with a Heap Account Manager before purchasing. We've been able to make it work for basic analytics but not more complex reports.

Invaluable insights into user behavior

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can easily set up events to track and monitor user behavior, what our users may be struggling with, and identify individuals for additional qualitative research.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup can be frustrating, but if you have a technical resource on your team that is bought in, it isn't bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have gained a lot of insight to user behavior that we wouldn't have otherwise had.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
R&D should be fully aligned to use it as it will take some technical intervention to get it working to its fullest.

Deep analytics with no fuss

What do you like best about the product?
I love how you never have to set up views and that no data is ever lost. If you decide later that you want to go back and dig into your data, you can. Unlike GA where the views and filters you create are never retroactive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the views and filters can be confusing at first. The onboarding could be better. But once you're in, you're in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can easily track our customer flows and see exactly what paths they are taking and where they are clicking. So we optimize around that.

What do you like best about the product?
Heap requires very minimal technical work to product incredible visuals. The interface is intuitive with drag and drop measures. It’s easy to create measures and segments of our customer data
What do you dislike about the product?
Heap has so far been ineffective for tracking session times of our users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can easily track the usage of our new features by particular customer segment. We can see how engagement changes with new releases and view it all on a live dashboard

It's easy to implement and saves a lot of dev work for us

The data sometimes is not accurate. Some events didn't auto capture for 100% customers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Where our customers drops the most and whether our customers have looping in applications.
