Easy to learn, hard to master.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Pega is that it didn't take more than a month for me to start being really comfortable with it. It's easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be frustrating when out of the box functionality does not work, so you start an SR and have to wait for replies from the Pega team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compliance has been created in 6 months, which is insane.

What do you like best about the product?
Good debugging tools to make life easier for developers.
Enhanced UI to support dynamic features of HTML5.
Options to customize OOTB features using native languages.
Easy to learn, difficult to master.
Easy to change code in production, provides capabilities to Business Users to update decision making logics on the go.
Enhanced AI features to support Next Best Action (NBA) for marketing domain.
Proposed integration with messanger and Alexa to support voice recognition features.
Enhanced reporting features in Pega 7, to integrate tables, pie charts, bar graphs etc in a single place.
Enhanced capabilities provided to business users to create and run reports in the go without using the development studio.
What do you dislike about the product?
Development environment little unstable between major version releases.
Better capabilities could have been provided to develop better UI.
Better capabilities could have been provided for developers to build and debug native technologies like Java, Javascript etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I along with my team is bulding an Underwriting an underwriting application for a major insurance player in US. Use of Pega platform in automating business solutions provides plethora of benefits such as
automating end to end case life cycle.
reduced turn around time.
eliminating the use of paper trails to manage case life cycle.
integration with outlook to send correspondence to customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is an excellent tool for handling BPM and CRM business with an enhanced focus on integrating AI to support next best action (NBA) features in marketing domain.

What do you like best about the product?
Includes screen and functionality mock-up tools that can then be converted directly into functioning product code. This also contains many agile project management tools built in
What do you dislike about the product?
With as many tools and options, setting it up to start with can be a bit daunting. Pega provides a lot of support but it still takes a bit to configure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used it extensively , not only as a development platform, but also a defect tracker and time management tool. It has an easy to access dashboard that keeps the users up to date on their assigned tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out their new scrum functionality. It is very helpful and robust.

What do you like best about the product?
PEGA is providing the worlds best Business Process Management solutions using its 'PEGA Rules Engine'.
We need to do very less coding while developing the solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost of the tool. Due to this middle and small scale companies are not interested on PEGA.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing business process management flows for various clients.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a claims.management system that's well structured to be used in banking which works well to be integrated and used with other systems for analysis of claims and charge backs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a good system, sometimes comes with learning curve and we need support from the vendor side to understand nuances.
