Pega claims workstation platform review
What do you like best about the product?
There are lots of out of box functionalities that are standard for Healthcare claims habdling industry which can be used right away with Pega. And it always evolves to bring more standard features out of box so that code doesn't have to be built from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization were not very easy to be made. With every organization's need and demands, there will be around 30% Customizations required to handle workflow management which are not out of box. Most Customizations are easy to develop, there always are some which are not easily possible in the tool that is so powerful to handle things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
solving workflow management and turn around time problems where existing processes require manual intervention and SLAs which can be configured directly into Pega. Being able to automate most of the inventory routing process and SLA accounting were the primary benefits of Pega.

Pega is great tool to handle most of the industry standard processes and it makes managing them lot better

What do you like best about the product?
Pega is one of the most efficient platform. It aims at providing us clear and analytical view of our billings and through its push notification we are always in the position of informing our customers about the latest events, this has saved our time and we have got rid of phone calls and also we have saved our money by investing on this quality built source. Further it has equipped us with such tools that help us to update and make changes to any of the developed application easily, I must say it is easy to configure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have faced some issues in its understanding, as it is complex, however its customer services team helped us a lot with our problems. So I would like to appreciate its customer support team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are efficiently managing our various channels and we are capable of creating the continuous deployment of our applications with much ease. Further its automation tool allows us to have end-to-end digital process automation, that are carried out by it Bots that search for us the necessary task which could be processed and enable us to track the previous processes as well, thus helping us to drag the data to case management and BPM.

It is the platform which is giving efficient effective services to our organization. I would like to recommend it to those people who are looking for an advanced kind of DPA software.

Pega is very flexible, it can do everything the client needs, but developer needs to have correct experience. Go with Platinum level

Pega provides as much (or as little) "hand holding" as the team needs. By guiding us through the options we are better able to create a tool that is easier for end users to understand and use.

Sometimes, the lack of out of the box flexibility can be frustrating and work arounds have to be devised

We are building a care management solution for a health plan with 10 million + members on it. The flexibility to integrate with our existing systems was a key factor in making the choice to use Pega.

Legacy system modernization. Easier to use and update than legacy systems.

What do you like best about the product?
Tools abilities which makes it as a unified platform, low development effort, faster time to delivery and strong workflow capabilities. It also provides Integration components with all the latest integration platforms using latest protocols
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many versions being released to market. Rather spend more time in stabilizing the product avoiding too frequent upgrades or hot fixes. Improve multi threaded processing so throughput can be scaled further.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building a CRM application with call center capabilities. We are also implementing a retirement solution which have around 70 distinct business processes along with some complex ones

BPM tool is very good. Its gives good insights on processes and helps in decision making
