Scalable, powerful, modern platform. Lots of new innovations coming up as new releases constantly from Pega.

Robotic automation that brings large improvement in business processes.

Lack of flexibility. In certain instances (especially having to do with security) there are limitations.

Pega offers various features like Customisable UI, powerful integration using open API, business user friendly with design once deploy anywhere, manual task automation

Limited Filtering capability on custom dashboard, cloud integration, complex implementation, cost factor

Great product when leveraged for what it is good at
What do you like best about the product?
Pega is extremely versatile and it is extremely easy to create new applications to handle tasks. As a business user I was able to learn the software easily and am able to create and update various aspects of our application on my own.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup is critical... the consulting company that developed our initial release made some decisions on configuration of the application that we have been working to unravel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team uses Pega to manage a rebate program. We have increased visibility into the transactions that are going on in our system and have an easier time deploying updates to logic for the behind the scenes processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Implementation is key. The closer you keep to ootb functionality the easier it is to maintain. Product really excels for BPM. The process we're using it for doesn't fit quite into that box so there are a lot of custom processes that can become difficult to weed through and maintain.

We engaged Pega to help us with Robotic Process Automation. Part of the ambition was to establish our own capability within the business to continue building RPA after Pega had departed. The Knowledge transfer we received from Pega was invaluable.

The contract negotiations were complicated due to changes required by GDPR.
