A reliable tool for storing and sharing files in the cloud

  • July 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Dropbox is its ease of synchronizing files between different devices quickly and securely, as well as the option to share links with access control.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like about Dropbox is that the free space is quite limited for users who handle large files, and sometimes it consumes a lot of resources when synchronizing data, but Dropbox could improve by being more intuitive for new users and offering unlimited free storage with premium options for advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes Dropbox consumes a lot of resources when syncing, but that ensures my files update quickly and are always available on all my devices without errors.

Seamless Sharing

  • July 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox makes file sharing easy and hassle-free. Its clean interface, smooth syncing across devices, and quick sharing options help you stay organized and collaborate effortlessly. Thanks to strong security and solid integration with other platforms, Dropbox remains a great choice for both individuals and teams looking for reliable cloud storage.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don’t like about Dropbox is that the free storage is very limited. You run out of space quickly and have to upgrade to a paid plan, which can be expensive compared to other options. Some features, like Smart Sync or longer file recovery, are only available on the more expensive plans. Also, getting help from customer support isn’t always easy if you’re on the free version. While sharing and syncing work well, editing Office files with others isn’t as smooth as it is on Google Drive. Overall, Dropbox is useful, but it works best if you’re okay with paying for the extra features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox helps me keep all my important files safe, organized, and easy to access from any device. It solves the problem of losing files by backing them up in the cloud, and it makes sharing with others really simple—no need for email attachments or USB drives. I also like that it keeps everything in sync across my phone, laptop, and tablet, so I always have the latest version. If I ever delete something by mistake, I can recover it easily. Overall, Dropbox saves me time, keeps my files safe, and makes work and sharing much easier.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox has been really a smooth experience, which is really secure and efficient for storing all the office related or personal teams in an ordered manner. And accessing the files are pretty easy and sharing across the teams is very convenient way. The interface is very intuitive and version history features are very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sync conflicts are raised when multiple user edit files at same time. File preview limitation are bit tedious. Sharing permission could be made better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One stop file storage and easy access across multiple devices. Through Dropbox, multiple miscommunication have been overcome. Important files are always easily accessible.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very Easy to use, and it's very easy to implement and integrate in the organisation or also personnel use. it helps to file share to all in the secure way, and also its also help to limit the access if required (like edit and view). Also we can share the link to anyone it's not required the person in the same network, i never found issues but we have options for customer support through mail and chart, also we can use from the multiple devices and also frequently we can use. it provides high secure to data. its also have the cloud only saving options it does not need all files in the desktop or drives we can save directly in the dropbox also we can find the edit history and files history when need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox only offers 2gb of free space which is very less compared to google drive and onedrive, it is expensive compared to others like google drive and onedrive. it consumes more data in syncing files, sometime feels more complicate to share files for beginners. office tools like other offering excel or google sheets not available in dropbox
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing file in the fast and secured way not need to download all person to view or edit the files, it help to use more local space .

My hard drive sleeps better now.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox kinda feels like that one friend who always remembers where you left your stuff.

I’m juggling client decks, design files, random invoices, and way too many “final_v3_no-really_final” PDFs, and somehow, Dropbox keeps everything where it's supposed to be.

The Smart Sync thing? Lifesaver. Let me pretend my laptop is clean while it secretly sits on a mountain of files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes syncing just stops for no reason... like it got tired or something.
Also, desktop app hides most features like it's shy. Would be great if search knew what I meant when I say “that file I opened last week”
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to email zip files to myself like it’s 2009. Dropbox saved me from that sad little ritual.
Now I can jump from my laptop to phone to someone else’s system and pick up right where I left it.

It also rescued my work more than once when I forgot to hit save. So... basically it’s my digital insurance.
