Sharing and storing made easy
What do you like best about the product?
I've used Dropbox for several years and I'm not disappointed with the software. Sharing my portfolio with recruiters is easy and helps me greatly in the application process. It's one software I recommend for business owners needing to share vast amounts of documents and data in a safely stored platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Subscriptions and premium services, but that's everywhere now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't seen any problems lately.
Great place to save and share... everything
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of ways to save and share everything from simple text documents to large video files is extremely helpful. Setting up custom links for client uploads has save me many times, and creating shares for us both within and outside the Dropbox system is a feature I use weekly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any. For my purposes, maybe including more video-centric features would be nice, like more codecs for playback and video notation features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me not only a central location for long-time archiving of important data, but a repository for sharing of large volumes of data on a temporary basis.
Great system to work with
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of folders and the layout. Having all the files on the left is super helpful for sorting.
What do you dislike about the product?
That if you add someone elses folder it affects your storage limit
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is an easier way to share content. I have used other platforms and I have always found that dropbox is the easiest.
Long time User of Dropbox a Must need for Personal and Business
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Dropbox for ten plus years, and I use it for personal and business purposes. It's great for sharing content and collaboration, backing up files, and freeing up space on your computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how the interface has not changed that much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing Files and collaboration with sharing documents.
Fast, efficient, easy
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox makes sharing and storing all types of important files simple and secure. That's really all we want, right?
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. The cost can seem noticeable but it still competes with other similar services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transferring large files for collaborative work.
Keeps Up with OneDrive and Workspace
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive folder navigation. Easy drag-and-drop.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not enough space on the free tier. Need to upgrade pretty quickly after signing up. Doesn't give you time to test the free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing me to keep files across my computers in once space.
Great way to collaborate
What do you like best about the product?
Probably my favorite part of Dropbox is the ability to collaborate with my coauthors in real time. We use the Word for Dropbox function, and it's great for collaborative projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes dropbox does duplicate files if my coauthors are working on the document at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox allows my coauthors and I to share documents and work collaboratively. This is a huge benefit because it keeps us from emailing back and forth with different versions of documents. This is important because it makes sure we're all working on the same version rather than someone accidentally working on an older version.
Convenient and Reliable Storage
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with Mac desktop at home office. Recovery tools and reliable storage over time. Capacity to accomodate large number of files. Preview options and recent improvements make tracking and finding files better and faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Looks a lot like some aspects of Google Drive. It would help to visually know which drive I am in just at a glance so I do not mix them up. The overall appearance could use some "branding" efforts to make a paid for service appear more of a value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintainence of records and sharing of records across multiple machines and locations.

What do you dislike about the product?
Things I would like to see.
When opening a document that is shared with a colleague, (office document in my experience). When using the desktop version of the application (excel) it locks up the file often. If mutlple people are working on the same file and everyone is using Excel in the Browswer (web edition) it works perfectly.
Need to minimize using full application when working in collaboration with other team members.
