Lack of a lot of integrations like Google Drive hence, I prefer Gdrive
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and specifically transfer files feature. Plus it's a bit cheaper than Gdrive, but Google's subs provide Gemini access so if that's not something you want, it's great
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of integrations is one thing, plus free tier could be a little bit more just to try it out at first without commiting to payment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simply ease of use - sharing links, uploading photos, creating folders and everything that a cloud storage provides it pretty much smooth
Great For Easy Access to Your Important Storage

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I really dislike about Dropbox, it offers a lot for free and you can choose to upgrade if you need to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox has basically solved my storage issues by being able to keep everything in one area .
Sharing and working together on documents is easy
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is really easy to install and get it working on the computer. It is as if it is another folder in your computer. I use it everyday. You can work on the document from any location and it updates automatically. I did not face any lag in updating which I faced with other interfaces. No additional downloads are needed and all documents word, excel or powerpoint can be easily accessed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The space gets limited sometimes and I want to avoid paying extra for the space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not need to switch between my work or home computer documents. No need to keep copying everything to the flash drive. Security that everything is saved and safe and no worries about crashing of the flash drive or hard drive.
Seamless File Sync and Sharing Across Devices
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Dropbox is its simple and clean interface. Uploading, organizing, and sharing files is very easy. I can access my files from any device without any hassle, and everything syncs automatically. The version history feature is also really helpful—it lets me recover files if I delete or change something by mistake. Overall, Dropbox is fast, reliable, and perfect for everyday use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s not much to dislike, but sometimes the storage plans can feel a bit expensive for individual users who don’t need a lot of space. A bit more flexibility in pricing or smaller plans would be great. Other than that, it works smoothly for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a video editor, I work with large files and need quick, reliable access across devices. Dropbox helps me store, manage, and share high-resolution video files without worrying about physical storage or transferring via hard drives. It also solves the problem of version control, allowing me to go back to previous edits if needed. The cloud-based access saves time and helps me collaborate easily with clients and teammates, no matter where they are. Overall, it keeps my workflow smooth and organized.
Simple and Reliable Cloud Storage for Everyday Use.
What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly easy to use and implement, with a clean interface that makes file storage and sharing straightforward. I especially appreciate how well it syncs across devices, making it easy to access and collaborate on documents from anywhere. Integration with tools like Microsoft Office and Google Workspace adds to its convenience. I used it for the company I was working for. We worked with a lot of reports, so it was easy for them to be uploaded to cloud storage.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has free plan which offers limited storage compared to some competitors, and advanced collaboration features are locked behind paid tiers. Also, customer support can be slow to respond to lower-tier plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Dropbox while working for a consulting company on a project that involved a large number of reports being developed and edited by multiple team members. Dropbox was the best option because it allowed us to store all files in one centralized location, manage version control, and collaborate in real time without worrying about lost or outdated documents. It solved the problem of disorganized file sharing and inconsistent document versions. It ensured that everyone was working on the most up-to-date files, reduced email clutter, and allowed for smooth collaboration across different departments. This improved our productivity, streamlined communication, and kept our project documentation well-organized and accessible at all times.
Reliable cloud storage
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox has been a great resource for reliably sharing files that are outside of the Google suite of apps. I’m a photographer and store high-resolution photos in my Dropbox to easily share with clients
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing plans are a little expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing high resolution images and larger files outside of my computer helps keep my photography business running smoothly without affecting my hardware. Sharing is seamless!
Reliable and User-Friendly Cloud Storage
What do you like best about the product?
I can start working on a file on my laptop and pick up right where I left off on my phone or tablet. The intuitive interface makes organizing and sharing files incredibly easy, and the ability to set granular access controls is a big plus for collaborating with others securely.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the core functionality is solid, many advanced features—like extended version history or more storage—are locked behind higher-priced plans. Also, occasional sync conflicts can happen when multiple users edit the same file simultaneously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of file accessibility, version control, and secure sharing across teams and devices. It eliminates the need for emailing files back and forth or worrying about outdated versions. For me, it ensures I always have the latest documents at hand—whether I’m working remotely, on a different device, or collaborating with others in real time. This boosts productivity and reduces friction in team workflows.
Dropbox destroyed everything that made it good
What do you like best about the product?
I don't like Dropbox at all anymore. They used to be good, now they're terrible.
What do you dislike about the product?
They got rid of the public folder, they hobbled their local client, they started limiting the number of computers you could use it on, they basically removed everything that made it good like a giant bait and switch
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I know use Dropbox anymore, ever since they instituted the limit on the number of machines that can have the client installed, it's become completely useless to me
All of your documents transferrable to and from a single location
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, ease of use, and oh yeah! EASE OF USE! The interface could not be any easier to use to get files in and out of a single location.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could use a revamp as the UI is stale and hasnt been updated in what seems like forever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to have a centralized database for content to be shared and collaborated on.
Started off pretty revolutionary but pretty outdated in the Google Workspace world
What do you like best about the product?
Docsend and Sign - Secure way to share docs + Docusign alternative.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real alpha over Google Workspace or Microsoft One Drive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One stop managing of various "doc" use cases for knowledge workers.
