My go-to for file transfers both personal and business
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use - directions are clearly listed and updates never change thing so much you cannot keep using the site the way you want to.
Ease of access - even people who do not use Dropbox can easily follow links and retrieve files.
Reasonable free options and worthwhile business account enhancements - I use Dropbox at home with a free account, and use the increased storage capability with my business account at work

What do you dislike about the product?
I have had customers believe they cannot access files without an account. I have not taken the time to write better instructions yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Marketing Agency, we need to share large image files and large data sets with partners and customers. We have an SFTP site with individual pages for our major partners, but this solution does not work for everyone. Having a secure service to transfer large files is essential to our business.
Love Dropbox - Such a helpful tool
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Dropbox for years and appreciate how seamlessly it allows me to share files and access them from anywhere in the cloud. The flexibility it offers for collaboration is invaluable, making it easy to organize, store, and retrieve documents across devices. I also love the desktop integration, which provides a smooth experience for managing files without always needing to go through the browser. The ability to control storage and sync settings helps optimize space and keep everything running efficiently. Overall, Dropbox remains a reliable and user-friendly tool.

Sometimes it's hard to view syncing process.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Dropbox for at least 10 years now and it's been essential for helping me manage files and content between my desktop, my laptop, my phone, my iPad, and my work devices. It takes minutes to set up on a new device and simplifies backing up and synchronizing data. I don't have to wonder which device a particular file is on as long as I keep it in my Dropbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've experienced few downsides. I dont' think I've ever had to contact support for anything. If I had anything I'd consider a downside, it's probably having to configure which folders to synchronize on which device (i.e. which ones will be on the device versus only in the cloud). But even that's not difficult, just a little more time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have numerous devices: my main desktop, my main laptop, my old laptop, my old desktop, my work desktop and laptop, my iPhone, my iPad, my wife's desktop and laptop. I have Dropbox installed on all of them and it makes my files easy to get at. For example, if I need to install a new piece of software on several machiens, I just put it in my drop box and I can grab it from any machine. It also helps me keep important files backed up in the cloud -- all my family photos, important financial documents, etc... And its ability to synchronize my camera roll from my phone makes it ideal for transferring data on and off my phone.
Solid service for the money
What do you like best about the product?
It has a robust feature set, is easy to access files on desktop and mobile devices and most importantly offers a password manager that allows you to easily keep track of various passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sending files could be easier on their base plan

It makes it easy for me and members of my work team and family to manage and access files from anywhere.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox integration with my computer's drive structure and immediate controls on a micro level for all my files make it a win for me. I use it daily.

Older versions of dropbox had some issues but the current version is amazing. Will never leave.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the sync process without overwriting files among connected devices. Also, it's faster sync compared to other popular cloud storage sync apps. and it's very easy to use and integration with Word and similar apps is great. am using Dropbox for my all projects every day. also, the Dropbox API looks very easy to implement with PHP or similar programming languages.

just the limit of sharing file size and if possible to increase referral space can earn lifetime

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Dropbox makes file sharing seamless for me and my clients. It's easy to use - I use it daily. I also enjoy the added features like being able to send documents for signature and have the documents automatically save to an assigned folder.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like about Dropbox is that I don't receive notifications when a client uploads a file to our shared folder. This would be a helpful addition!

Dropbox solves the problem of sharing files with people who are in different locations. This helps me since my clients are all over the country and we need to collaborate digitally.
